I'm still using a hand-me-down Cameo 2 and it works great except for not reading registration marks. I want to get a new machine, but can't decide on the 5 or 5+!
Here are questions to ask yourself.... I don't need the answers but I pose these to anyone considering a Plus. How often would you utilize the extra 2.6" of cutting width on the Cameo Plus? The Cameo Plus has a cutting width of 14.6" wide. Is it enough to justify the extra cost of the machine and the space needed for the machine? That is the only difference between the 2 and most users don't really need that extra 2.6" of cuttable space.
It's sad that Silhouette makes the mistakes of promoting NEW products, and pushing way ahead of their own productions, without considering to fix the issues they are faced with NOW with customers that are left still in bottom of the barrel.
