I love the way you stripped it back at one point to sound the way it would have back when we listened to Mtown on our transistor radios of the time.

The original recording made a very modest impact compared to the previous hits. I suspect had it been closer to your remake, especially in tempo, it could also had been major. In fact I like this much better than the original! Bravissimo! PWG
That is not true at all. Not only did they play it on the radio lot back then, it's been used in several movies and television shows. Remember "China Beach"? It also went to #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart! Shit that is pretty major!

Nice job! Where idd the ad-libs by Diana come from at the end? I don't remember them on any recordings.
+Mark Mussari Tx Mark.I constructed them from the main vocal, repitched them and then placed them where I would normally ask a singer to ad-lib until fade . I've done this many times, both with remixes and original artistes, and try and do it tastefully as hopefully done here.

Just a tad too fast. The tempo has to be just right for the mood, and the beat changed the feel also. This isn't a dance sing, it's a mood song.
