@IamLoreMaster actually Ner'zhul for the most part lived in Frostmourne. When it shattered, he pretty much died. the helm which Bolvar put on had absorbed alot of the energies and powers of Frostmourne. Thats why it made his eyes glow yellow, the blue glow was a symptom of the possession. Bolvar is in control, Ner'zhul maybe still inhabiting him via the helm, but if he is he aint the one in charge. The reason the scourge isnt helping the alliance is because its taking all of Bolvar's...
@Asskikeradz bs"d Illidan isnt the naga leader, queen Azshara is. her lieutenant Lady Vashj has joined forces with Illidan. same thing was with that blood elf price.
@TabletopwargamingHD Warcraft I believe is a strategy game...Storyline based, Whereas "World of Warcraft" is an online game that uses story line and quest chains where warcraft series left off & that can be completed w/without the help of other online players.
@FishingShip1 Yeah, there is *supposed* to be a movie based around Arthas (I think). Its been in the talks for around four years now, but Blizzard keeps holding it back, so...
Some would disagree with Arthas/Lich King, especially if you read the Arthas novel. Before the novel, Arthas was still redeemable. Then you learn Arthas mind killed Ner'zhul, leaving only Arthas "inside" the Lich King entity. Not to mention a lot of people were not too thrilled with "There must always be a Lich King". At least Metzen said they would bring Illidan back to undo their mistake during TBC. If only they did the same to Kael'thas who just went "evil" for no reason at all too.
@buzzkiller100 Illidan summoned the Naga back to the surface. Naga are just night elves who followed queen Azhara and abused magic, they "evolved" to Naga over the years.
@TheAngryGameKids The Lich King is Ner'zul, Arthas was merely a host for him. What makes you think that Bolvar can be able to restrain himself against a creation of Kil'Jaeden? Despite the events in the Fury of the Sunwell, Kil'Jaeden, like Varimathras and Sargeras, cannot be killed, only banished to a distant plane until they can manifest a new form. Bolvar is not back, he is a mindless tool of Ner'zul. If he was back, the Scourge would stand with the Alliance, yet it does not.
@TheAngryGameKids Illidan it's not dead. Belive me they just said they gonna slow him a bit, and plus there is not his corpse. Btw I read before few weeks question for Blizzard what happend with Illidan corpse?Arthas corpse and Kal'thas ? They said that : " They said I think that they don't know where is Artahs corspe, and that they are going to back Illidan in future time, cuz he is not dead and about Kal'thas, well they said he had his retrun in SWP patch.
(continued) also one thing Blizzard also screwed up with Lich King was that they didnt go deep enough to explain Arthas/Nerzhul being the one and the same thing....now some say that it was Arthas in control all along and that he somehow "banished" Ner'zhul's soul...but overall Blizzard simply didnt bother to explain this all in detail in Wrath of the Lich King and clearly in Warcraft IV they would have the chance to explain this in detail...
@TheDeathdragon1 bolvar is the new lich king. he took up the help after he was killed at the wrathgate and the raid killed the lich king. look up wrathgate cinematic.
Yup, They can focus diffrent view angle of same event. Even more loretelling, They could still take the events of arthas's death but they could tell what was not at WoW. Unlike mindlessly repeating same things on RTS, they could add some lore.
@LedjoDjole I am a true wow fan and I've always liked to play it. but when I heard that there was going to be no main vilian in the new wow expansion because they "ran out". Makes me think that they should make a warcraft 4 but start a new story and get some new vilians so they will have something to put in wow
No?Well it was not only Kerrigan's body that changed when the Zerg captured and "mutated" her and secondly even if Arthas lost his humanity when he picked Frostmourne, you cant deny that Arthas still very much had his own personality and will, even if he was "loyal" to Nerzhul...and even that loyalty can be questioned, cause according to the book Rise of the Lich King written by Christie Golden,Arthas somehow banished Ner'zhul from "his mind" and so that book claim that Arthas alone was in control
@IamLoreMaster ...concentration to keep them in check. kil'jaeden is still alive, ur quite right about that, but he has no control over the scourge or Ner'zhul anymore and hasn't sine arthas became the Lich King. Kil'jaeden btw CAN be killed but only if all of him is destroyed like it was with Archimonde and Mannoroth.
Now you are flying. Arthas's soul was absorded by Frostmourne. Only way to release a soul from Frostmourne is shattering it. Which would also release Arthas's soul. This is after all how he died in the end. Starcraft doesnt go into soul stuff in lore.
@TabletopwargamingHD those are different games mate world of warcraft is an mmorpg warcraft is a real time strategy. World of warcraft continues the story where warcraft ends
As a game wow is pretty good, but warcraft as rts is the best way to tell the story. Alle these pvp factions and raiding have been an assault on the lore.
(continued) also I dare say that the fate of Arthas COULD have been entirely different, if Warcraft had never turned into MMO and just continued as RTS....I mean perfect example of this is Kerrigan from Starcraft....after all her story is in someway similar to Arthas....and exmaple that not all the villains necessarily have to die, that there is also alternative option....but I feel that's exactly what WoW dont give to these villains, but they are always destined to die as damn raidbosses...
(continued) also I would like to "argue" about this statement... "Arthas was meant to die the day he claimed frostmourne, its unavoidable" Well basicly Arthas did loose his soul when he picked up Frostmourne...BUT here is the thing....why the HECK had to Bolvar "replace" him/Ner'zhul as the Lich King?....I tell you why, because damn money-hungry Blizzard is simply planning to recycle the Lich King character in some future WoW expanison! This all could have been avoided in Warcraft IV
"I have 4k achive points, 100k gold, 300 mounts and full cataclysmic glorious conquest gear! What do you have? Bitch please, I play Warcraft III." #NUFFSAID
Well, Unavoidable events has happened, Altough i agree with you. Blizzard just put them as bosses and murdered them mindlessly. But at least, now they are aware of what they are doing. MoP was very nice, they did not screw lore. Kael and Illidan are dead, this cannot be rewritten. But they could at least give em more heroic deaths then this. Also illidan may still be " alive ". There is some evidances
stupid youtube doesnt let me reply to everything,so I keep this short..ye I agree with most of the stuff you said, so in short I too hope that Warcraft IV would add more lore and details to the events of WoW and also add different angles to it and then continue the lore from there.....as long as the story continues from The Frozen Throne and doesnt jump over everything that has happened in WoW,I would be happy to buy and play WC IV, but I damn Blizzard to hell if they just jump over these events
What lore? The lore that Blizzard made up like 15 years ago? It was their creation and the "lore" ended with Deathwing (sort of). Now they are just expanding on it and writing new lore.
" If only they did the same to Kael'thas who just went "evil" for no reason at all too." Lol what? Kael'thas went evil because Arthas destroyed the Sunwell so he took the Sin'dorai and turned them into Blood Elves. I would hardly call that no reason
TRUE WORDS! Warcraft IV that continues the story from Warcraft III:The Frozen Throne and PROPERLY continues the storyline by telling it's own, BETTER, deeper and more detailed version of the events of WoW or by rewriting its events entirely...THAT is my dream...one that I hope would come to reality, but I fear that It wont =( If Warcraft IV would continue the story wherever WoW will "end" it would completely and forever ruin Warcraft for me...without Arthas, Illidan and others it would be lame
Well that's what they did to Illidan too......heck, Blizzard even themselves had the guts to admit that they screwed up with Illidan in TBC.....wish they had the guts to admit how they have screwed up with most of the characters/villains in WoW, simply cause they had to be raid bosses for the players to kill =/ I quess we can only hope that Blizzard would retell or rewrite WoW's storyline in MUCH better way in Warcraft IV...these characters deserve better than what WoW did to them
(continued).surely, the least Blizzard simply HAS to do is to retell/cover the events of WoTLK and Cata in Warcraft IV,like you said, cause imagine just how it would feel for those Warcraft fans who for one reason or another did not want/did not have time to play WoW and all it's expanions....to see that all these characters,Arthas,Illidan etc would be missing,it would be lame as hell....besides I think we can all agree that in WCIV Blizz would be able to tell these same events in much better way
No I actually played vanilla WoW and some of Burning Crusade and post-Cataclysm too....ok sure I admit that not ALL that Blizzard has done in WoW has been bad, but the way they have been killing off these major characters and villains is just ridicilous, especially considering how in the heck do they plan to continue the storyline from there, especially if this goes on and in the last WoW expansion players would kill Sargeras himself....
k i started playin world of warcraft in the beginning of Burning Crusade.... i really dont get the storyline of how Warcraft became world of warcraft.... and like..... yea.... i feel so stupid -_- and i really dont get the storyline of the main bosses like Illidan, Arthas, and Deathwing, i see the name Bolvar in the tops comments.... who is he??????
WoW's lore is not bad. They did it well. It would be foolish to rewrite lore and thats somethink blizzard would never ever do. By your talking all i see is that you only played Warcraft 3. Arthas was meant to die the day he claimed frostmourne, its unavoidable. You cannot make Warcraft 4 take WoWs lore more detailed then WoW. WoW progressed its lore in years. I would like to see Warcraft 4 which covers events of WotLK and Cata, then continues with future warcraft lore(after last expansion)
And tell me exactly why they wouldnt? WoW wont last forever, it has constantly kept loosing players, from it's highest subscriber rate of 12-13 million down to 8 million players...seconly WoW and Warcraft wouldnt have to rule eachother out, the way I see it both of them have their own gamer audience, while some like both...also the people inside Blizzard who made Warcraft III, most of them have been working with Starcraft II, and after Legacy of the Void is done, they are free to work with WC IV
Well, They wanted to control scourge, if they did not, It would mean even greater danger. Its oblivious they are no longer "that" insterested in WoW anymore, they seek other ways. Because WoW is getting older and has no chance aganist future coding techniques. They have to put another MMO to market. If it was not bolvar it would be tirion. Also bolvar is easy to kill , nothing near Arthas

God I miss him so much, my favorite video game character ever.

Illidan isnt the naga leader, queen Azshara is. her lieutenant Lady Vashj has joined forces with Illidan. same thing was with that blood elf price.
Wow that was bad ass, never seen that one before.
Can't wait until Naga are a playable race.
A lot has been said about warcraft heroes, but throught all this Illidan is my favourite hero of warcraft universе ever!!!

@TabletopwargamingHD I dont really know, because ive never played warcraft, ive just seen a few short clips of warcraft.
I really hope that the WoW movie includes Illidan. He's my favorite villain in Warcraft/WoW.
@TheAngryGameKids Illidan's soul is bound to Kil'jaeden, expect him to return to us as Ner'zhul did, who shared a similar bond.
@TheAngryGameKids Illidan it's not dead. Belive me they just said they gonna slow him a bit, and plus there is not his corpse.

i love the NAGA!
Freeze yourself like Cartman then, I'll wake you when the Space Otters have taken over.
I dont play WoW anymore but I still think that Illidan is badass!
Yeah, Kael was one of my warcraft 3 heroes. Its so stupid that they turned him evil mindlesly.
Hey, its Slardar and his buddies :D
Nice, I enjoy the video.
And this kids is why you shouldn't go too far in the water
Omg Nostalgia

Quick question, if Illidan is kinda part leader of the naga and he is also king of OL why is the marsh the only place u find naga
@IamLoreMaster ...concentration to keep them in check. kil'jaeden is still alive, ur quite right about that, but he has no control over the scourge or Ner'zhul anymore and hasn't sine arthas became the Lich King. He almost looks like a dreadlord already
This is a valid plan. I am in.
