"Seek me out"..... This is one of the, if not THE most amazing game I have ever played! Good, cool graphics, awesome gameplay, epic story and singleplayer campaign! An immortal classic
Just a magnificent trailer. Had me in awe when I first saw as a teenager. Still do. A bit saddened by the lack of Warcraft 4 but nonetheless I'm happy to feel nostalgic for this Classic.
That orc at 1:45 who falls down is gonna be preeeettyyy embarrased later... .. Grok: Hey remeber when we were fighting those humans on Friday and then Tharg totally faceplanted it in the first charge? Jorg: awww man! that was gold!!
haha I remember when I first saw this long ago, I was so enamored by the sheer epic awesomeness of the orcs charging in with their drumming kodo-riders! I still get chills!
chicho Suarez Get more cool armors and i will support the horde. Idk man, footmans are my favorite unit, just, those armors.... THE ARMOOORS! If the horde had better armors instead of "tough skin" i would probably be with the horde.
Maako True, 1 grunt = 2 footmans. Buuuut.... do you have armors like that? oh-oh i think not babe, man i would not care if i die in an armor as cool as that
@Zuben45 "Misc lands of Lordaeron". The cinematic is just a dream of Alliance and Horde forces meeting on the field of battle. It doesn't have to depict a specific area, especially since WoW skews alot of the dimensions and such for gameplay purposes. IMO it looks like Arathi Highlands though.
I remember DLing this for over a day on 28.8K and being super excited only to realize that my Win95 Pentium MMX computer didn't meet the requirements which I didn't understand at the time.
It's not a stupid question if you haven't played any of the games or looked into them at all. :) "Warcraft" is a series of Real-Time Strategy (RTS) games, campaigns of war where you control troops and gather resources to build facilities and take part in large battles. World of Warcraft, however, is a massively-multiplayer on-line RPG (MMORPG) where you control a single character, choosing a race and class and increasing their strength to take on tougher challenges.
I think was vision from future. Burning legion (infernal meteors in this intro) also wasnt there yet when he had that dream. And i think that battle was on Kalimdor too. It was just vision of bad future when jaina and thrall never stood together againts the might of the burning legion, instead they fight each other
I wish I was the guy on the rock - sounding the charge with the single wave of my sword to the wind - as my brothers tore the battlefield and I died by their sides.

Now, we have to remember that this was a vision by Medivh and not a real actual battle. Perhaps it represents something? Two great leaders of the opposite factions facing eachother?
well it's a vision of what would happen if thrall doesn't act on Medivh's warning. and if i am not mistaking blizzard it self said it was Uther , but dunno for sure. But it would make sense seeing Medivh also tried to warn Uther as well.
Blizzard's golden years - release of Diablo 2 (2000) until first WoW Xpac (2006). Everything after has just not been the same. Warcraft 3 had Blizzard's finest cinematic work they've ever done.
I can only think of this as a revamped intro for a new expansion, when the Alliance and Horde have started to battle yet again for power over the world, becuase of the absent of any evil characters, the Burning Legion will yet again invade.
While there's little denying the incompetence of Garithos, in the way he used the Blood Elves and did the grave mistake of trusting a banshee, he was within his right to hang Kael by laws. What Garithos knew about the Naga were probably from reports on how they had ravaged the shores of Kalimdor, and so given what little information was available, he did make the right choice. Altough had he been wiser, he'd simply given Kael the lash and given him another chance.
actually i think there is trolls in this cinematic there just not plainly shown look at 2:05 where theres a close up on the orc on the left side of the screen u can sort of make out skinny figures with spears over there shoulders just like the trolls do it in the game, so i think this is a vision if the orcs and trolls stayed in the eastern kingdoms and fought with the humans, then the legion comes and so on.
No, it was only the High Elves under Kael'Thas leadership who were imprisoned. They collaborated with the Naga, whom are a vengeful race serving the terrible empress Azshara, a massive tentacle beast that once ruled all Azeroth, and almost lead to its total annihilation by inviting the Burning Legion ten thousand years ago. If collaborating with the forces of evil doesn't get you hanged, I don't know what will :P
the new intro carries CalArts Taint Old Intro and cinematics had Samwize and Metzen's art carrying it worse is that ActiBlizz being a bunch of assholes prohibited LemonSky to use the original Art, and it seems that it was out of jealousy.
There is one thing that I don't understand in this video. How could there be a Kodo rider at 1:04, when the Orcs didn't arrive on Kalimdor (where the Kodos live) after Medivh had warned Thrall? Has anyone seen a Kodo in Warcraft 3, before the Orcs arrived on Kalimdor?
I'm not 100% certain of this, but I think the vision was based on the Orc mission where Grom and Thrall team up against the human expeditions on Kalimdor?
I dont think that way... i loved wow back then in 2004, it was really awsome to see all that world by yourself, just that some people got tired of it, i dont hold any hate for it whatsoever
But who says this is in the Eastern Kingdoms? It's a vision and it is probably from Kalimdor (Grom Hellscream fighting Humans at the beginning of the Orc campaign).
To all these arguments, I'd rather say that is just an illusion what Medivh greated for Thrall, to show him what will happen if he will not do something. To make Thrall belive in him, and lead his people to Kalimdor.
killed off Arthas because he knew he was going to die he had no reason to live he was even holding back a lot and he had already seen the future in visions.illidan might be returning as many people want him back and in mop there's a lot going on.
"Seek me out"..... This is one of the, if not THE most amazing game I have ever played! Good, cool graphics, awesome gameplay, epic story and singleplayer campaign! An immortal classic
+Steven Stone The Second War devasted both the Alliance and Horde.
but hell the taurens are awesome on the horde side :D

"This kingdom, Shall fall! and from the ashes shall arise a new order! that will shake, the very foundation... of the world"
... of Warcraft.
what a game...
It is a joke?
This game was my childhood...so many memories :)
They should have made the warcraft movie using this type of cinematics would have been so epic
That orc at 1:45 who falls down is gonna be preeeettyyy embarrased later...
..
Grok: Hey remeber when we were fighting those humans on Friday and then Tharg totally faceplanted it in the first charge?
Jorg: awww man! that was gold!!
first three secounds of the movie... such nostalgig goosebumbs. unfortunatly the old first time feelings will never come back y.y
this is the best gaming video I have seen, the sound is incredible and the graphics as well!
soo many years, and yet no one has been able to surpass them in the shear awesomeness of their cinematics and gameplay
1:53, after all them years later, I still get chills from this... So good!
"seek me out" still getting goosebumps after 10 years

haha I remember when I first saw this long ago, I was so enamored by the sheer epic awesomeness of the orcs charging in with their drumming kodo-riders! I still get chills!
I still have a chills when i watch this , even tho i know this game for 10 years ...
Man, i mean come on, humans are way more cool than orcs, just look at those fucking armors. Wield your sword and slay the horde babe.
The Horde rules!
chicho Suarez Get more cool armors and i will support the horde. Idk man, footmans are my favorite unit, just, those armors.... THE ARMOOORS! If the horde had better armors instead of "tough skin" i would probably be with the horde.
+Shogan Flamemasta armor are for human pussies, even with their armour the warriors of the horde can still slice them as butter
Maako True, 1 grunt = 2 footmans. Buuuut.... do you have armors like that? oh-oh i think not babe, man i would not care if i die in an armor as cool as that
Shogan Flamemasta
the horde has shoulder pats that are worth 5 alliance armours :p
Watching this cinematic 6 years ago, I knew from then on I had to play Alliance
@Zuben45
"Misc lands of Lordaeron".

Only orcs and trolls I love this old Horde.
krixxus123 Taurems are the best :v
"There is a line of races that should have been allowed in the Horde and we have clearly crossed it, but let's keep going just to see what happens"
I remember DLing this for over a day on 28.8K and being super excited only to realize that my Win95 Pentium MMX computer didn't meet the requirements which I didn't understand at the time.
STILL BETTER THAN WARCRAFT THE MOVIE TRAILER
+Mistrz ur mad
*Insert Berserk 2016 joke*
That one orc at 2:17 who goes into battle just ahead of his entire army is a freakin' baller
'' Heroes rise to challenge fate and lead their brethren to battle '' epic

Titan is the one that's under development, we'll be lucky to even see WC4 in the year 2020.
Blizzard makes epic and beautiful cinematics for all their games (at least for all WoW versions), a game this beautiful is impossible to make so far.
I want warcraft total war!!!!!!!
I think was vision from future. Burning legion (infernal meteors in this intro) also wasnt there yet when he had that dream. And i think that battle was on Kalimdor too. It was just vision of bad future when jaina and thrall never stood together againts the might of the burning legion, instead they fight each other
i just realized now that the song used in the warcraft 3 roc cinematic is the one used in the wow vanilla gameplay trailer, props to blizzard
thats what world of warcraft is the complete story of this amazing saga
I wish I was the guy on the rock - sounding the charge with the single wave of my sword to the wind - as my brothers tore the battlefield and I died by their sides.

That Tauren has mad drumming skills
I remember these days, back in the old days :)
For The Horde! From beginning to end.

1:30 oh man that music theme, we're just so trained to associate It with the horde
I can only think of this as a revamped intro for a new expansion, when the Alliance and Horde have started to battle yet again for power over the world, becuase of the absent of any evil characters, the Burning Legion will yet again invade.

The crow eye is prety damn epic for its time :o
I aways watch this before I redo the campaign of wc3 over and over again
I will never in my life forget that scene at 1:53
Warcraft 3 has the best cinematics EVER!!
Warcraft 3 and Diablo 1, 2 - best Blizzard's games. Currently impressed by mobile version of Hearthstone and user interface of it also
We need a Warcraft Total War version to have battles such as this
I have the chills.
damn, those cinematics were so awesome! Blizzard have always been good at Cinematics ... when do the release the Warcraft movie damnit!
It still does, just through a less available medium. Oh and books, really, really good books.
actually i think there is trolls in this cinematic there just not plainly shown look at 2:05 where theres a close up on the orc on the left side of the screen u can sort of make out skinny figures with spears over there shoulders just like the trolls do it in the game, so i think this is a vision if the orcs and trolls stayed in the eastern kingdoms and fought with the humans, then the legion comes and so on.
It's dangerous to go alone! Here, take this! *Hands Popcorn*

@0HerreH0
yeah Arthas killing scene was made so perfect in WoW....
I miss the story of these games. I'm sure it went on in World of Warcraft but I'm sure it was in the high end bosses. It is a shame.
That guy who was told to Lead the Hord in his dreams is Thrall but who was the guy in his dream.
YOU MUST RALLY THE HOARD AND LEAD YOUR PEOPLE TO THEIR DESTINY
When i saw this for the first time in 2001 i felt like in another planet..........
I look forward to another good story driven expansion, as this one is Panda children letting you know they're growing beards.....
Hopefully Warcraft 4 will look like these CGI movies. Should be possible since I don't expect the game before 2017 anyway.
Am I the only one that like more the old version intro vs the new one !
the new intro carries CalArts Taint
Old Intro and cinematics had Samwize and Metzen's art carrying it
worse is that ActiBlizz being a bunch of assholes prohibited LemonSky to use the original Art, and it seems that it was out of jealousy.
Aha, I suppose that would make sense, with Thrall waking up at the end. Can't believe I didn't think of that.
Seeing that guy with the super long cape reminds me of The Incredibles. "NO CAPES!" That guy could trip on himself.... =)
I am an orc deep inside of me... My blood needs to be rallied!
Lok'tar Ogar my fellow warriors!
For a 2002 rts game it has amazing graphics.
man in this intro i remember that after that battle there were 2 cuted hands
But that did happen...remember the mission in which you fight against humans together with Warsong Clan, so that you can get to a goblin observatory?
Grom Hellscream, I don't doubt for a second.
RISE UP, SONS OF THE HORDE, BLOOD AND GLORY AWAIT US!
i love the orc who falls at 1:42.
CREATE A CINEMA MOVIE!!!! I SWEAR TO GOD I WILL WATCH IT 1000 TIMES!!!!
He is only known as "The Prophet" if I'm not mistaken. Play Warcraft 3 if you want to know for sure ;)
Um.. In this scene, Thrall sees a vision of the future. The future where the new Horde travels to Kalimdor and gets kodos.
Easily the greatest game trailer of all time along with the greatest game of all time.
The humans look so much more epic than the orcs. FOR THE ALLIANCE!!!
I'm not 100% certain of this, but I think the vision was based on the Orc mission where Grom and Thrall team up against the human expeditions on Kalimdor?
if only humans looked that badass ingame(WoW).
I dont think that way... i loved wow back then in 2004, it was really awsome to see all that world by yourself, just that some people got tired of it, i dont hold any hate for it whatsoever
1:40 the orc on the right trips on his own legs XD
Because that is only a dream the prophet shows to demonstrate what could happen if he doesn't leave to Kalimdor.
If only modern Blizzard put as much quality into their games as they put in their Cinematics
But who says this is in the Eastern Kingdoms? It's a vision and it is probably from Kalimdor (Grom Hellscream fighting Humans at the beginning of the Orc campaign).
Man orcs vs humans is so cool. In WoW those are the only two races I like.
Heh.
The Alliance, made out as villains?
The Forsaken are in the Horde, and the Alliance are villainous.
That's rich.
Or maybe it was just a cinematic made by blizzard, and they were on kodos because the orcs are on kodos in the game?
Leader in this cinematic is Lord Anduin Lothar.
You are my hero; I laughed so fucking hard at that that I cried.
God, Medivh was such a badass..
To all these arguments, I'd rather say that is just an illusion what Medivh greated for Thrall, to show him what will happen if he will not do something. To make Thrall belive in him, and lead his people to Kalimdor.
movie has been confirmed in the making this fall 2013 and will be out 2015..
I.. MUST RALLY THE HORDE AND LEAD MY PEOPLE TO THEIR DESTINY!
God, I wish they make a movie out of this. Just imagine, 2:18 being put in the movie.
killed off Arthas because he knew he was going to die he had no reason to live he was even holding back a lot and he had already seen the future in visions.illidan might be returning as many people want him back and in mop there's a lot going on.
the dark spear tribe have been with thrall's horde before he went to kalimdor
2:00 epic spear guys. I got your back bro!
2:42 The diamond, in the riamond, in the rough...
The human is actually Lothar.
@dranze111
A game Warcraft 3 the events that leads up to World of Warcraft (the best times if you ask me).
He went in too early and had to use his shield wall ability.
1:41 when you get too excited
