1. stationary is better. KISS. also aiming is way easier, the ships move quite fast 2. two guys can operate the same ship, but that is boring and has no advantage 3. all ships sides are 1/32 inch balsa wood (easy for bbs to go through) 4. great observation, we are all very cool because we have big boy toys that destroy eachother
Jeff shot a remarkable 46.5%. Tyler and Bob only shot 17% (calculating that one of Bob's guns didn't soot at all and Tyler still had 25 or so bbs left). The moral of the story is: Don't play sidemounts with Jeff.
just a question.. 1. do the guns rotate for a better aim or is it stationary? if yes, 2. is it okay for 2 players per ship to participate in this? one to manuever the ship and the other to aim/shoot the guns 3. are all the ships armor same in thickness to make it fair for everyone? 4. why are you guys so cool?
Most of it you build by yourself. Check out battlersconnection.com which is a vender that can sell you most of the parts you need or rcwarshipcombat.com is a forum with building tips. portpolarbear.com has some good articles on it as well. mostly you need to see a few ships in real life. What state do you live in, I can probably hook you up with someone in your area.
We have battlers in southern Indianna, Tennessee, North Carolina. there is a separate "Treaty Combat" group out of Ohio. The guys at Battlersconnection.com are good at connecting you with someone close if you send them an E.mail.

If there is pumps keeping the boats afloat whe do they sometimes sink?
Pumps don’t have unlimited output. Mine can do 3-3.5 gallons per minute, if the rate of water that comes in is larger than that, it sinks.
you build them jack

Make canistershots for your ship ;)

We build the guns ourselves with plumbing parts.
