I feel like it was a missed opportunity to have Alice continue being the Darkus Battle Brawler of the season. Imagine when Mira talks about the Bakugan she saw tormented and Alice realized it was HER partner. That would serve as a great motivation for her to get back into the battles. In addition, she WAS Masquerade, arguably the second best Brawler of the first season. While it might have been her alter ego, she made peace that he was part of her. It would have been cool to see Alice in battle, keeping her cool as best she can. But when the battle turns to her favor, she can’t help but smile in a confident “I’ll kick your ass” way as she’s fighting back against the people who TOOK HER PARTNER AND TORTURED HIM. Percival also fits in very well with Alice’s theme. In a way, Hydranoid was the dragon that protected the princess. Percival, a knight dragon, taking up that mantle would have been fitting.
iirc Masquerade even said to Alice when they were having their last talk that she should be able to do anything he was able to do because he WAS her, everything he had came from her and all that separated them was personality. So yeah in theory Alice should be as good as Masquerade.
To be honest I kind of liked that she was a background character that you where reminded when she showed up as it made the reveal more shocking, at least to me anyway. But yeah kind of wish Alice had had the chance to of been the darkus brawler.
@@jayewrite1256 I mostly meant for this to take place in New Vestroia. The reveal of her being Masquerade is done perfectly but I was hoping that when New Vestroia would come out, she’d be the Darkus Brawler instead of Ace.

This show, Pokemon: Galactic Battles, and the Beyblade: Metal franchise were my anime phase when I was a tween. Saturday Mornings were SICK back then. I'm glad someone on TH-cam is talking about this show. I always thought Season 2 is a bit of a cut above the rest. Maybe it's childhood nostalgia, but like you said, there a lot of comeplling aspects to this Season.
I really liked the villains in this, actually felt emotion with Volt lost Brontese and when Link “died.” Season 2 was really hype. Also don’t diss on my man Klaus, Chan Lee is really cool too. Volt and Brontese relationship is also so depressing and I’m always sad when I think about it.
Id just like to mention that the best moment in season 2 is when Klaus gives Spectra sass, despite knowing he would get destroyed in a fight. The monotone voice acting makes this moment even better.
I guess on Vestal they figured out how to make dispensers and keep their drinks in plastic or metal bottles that are probably reusable in a very short amount of time that juice boxes were not thought of for quick and easy enjoyment of beverages
Great video! Seriously, it is hard to find videos that break down Bakugan so well. Thank you for all the time you must have put into this project too. Now... about part three and four. @@kingsdayinfirmi I meant when each of them was "killed" for their blunders against the brawlers (though the true reason was to use them as scapegoats for their superiors own blunders)
I still feel that this season could have been soo much better if Alice joined Dan instead of Marucho. IDK maybe it's just because I feel that Alice had the most missed potential out of all of the brawlers.
Really I felt like her character reached its peak at the end of the first and she doesn't battle so I didn't mind I minded more that runo and julie wern't involved that much and neither were their bakugan also I didn't like that shun and morucho bakugan prayus and skyrus were replaced every season because dan keeps drago for all 4 shows why shouldn't murucho and shun keep theirs also I miss angelo and diablo

I recently had a thought about the New Vestoria team and how it could change. Instead of Shun returning it could've been Alice, this would make up for her lack of battles during S1. She'd replace Ace as the Darkus brawler and Ace would be Ventus. Instead of Ace and Percival it could be Alice and Percival going from Dragon to Knight so when she gets Hydranoid back there could be a rivalry about it, basically the Dragon vs Knight story often used in fantasy. Maybe Ace could have Ingram instead or a new Bakugan. For an explanation on how Alice gets to NV, Runo and Julie would talk about Dan and Marucho leaving thus she asks Dr. Michael to help her get there and they manage to open a portal and before meeting up with the resistance she obtains Percival similar to how Shun gets Ingram. Shun can return for Gundalian Invaders making the OG trio the bois

Wait a minute..... - a believed to be Missing/dead brother - wears a mask to hide identity - opposes the protagonists on multiple occasion - has a mainly red colour scheme Okay, that tears it, Spectra is a freakin' CHAR CLONE in the Bakugan series! How have I not noticed this for all these years?
Fantastic review! I do agree, New Vestroia was a great follow up, anime and toy wise. I love the Battle Gear too. Whether or not you end up doing a part 3 and part 4, I’m completely satisfied. You put your all into these videos, there’s no denying that. And yes, Volt and Brontes deserved better. So did Lync. I loved Shadow Prove’s antics, but I absolutely hate Mylene. She always came off as uptight and entitled to me.
I do like season 2 but season 1 i felt was better. Season 2 is basically when Dan, Marucho and Shun goes captain planet to save bakugan with resistance. I felt like the 3 other main characters felt weak but i really love the vexes and also the ending was great. Few things i dont like about s2 is the story, how the game played and the charm which s1 was better at. The game basically fundementally changed in the first half as instead of reliant of strategy its power. Remember what Drago said to Dan in the episode when they fought against an opponent? At least the second half brought it back. Overall the second season isnt bad but the other season of bakugan got weaker and weaker.
Thing with Spectra is that he was a bit butchered by the English dub. It's not a widely-known fact, but in the Japanese version he had more of a proper character with development, coming from rejecting everything that tied him to his family, like bonds to Mira and Clay, his name, and even his own face. That's why he continues to wear his mask all the way until he joins the Resistance, accepting his true self
Thanks to these retrospectives, I went back to watch the show and now I can't stop joking about Mira being AGGRESSIVELY into her brother and he was doing what he was doing, in part, to not let incest happen.
Phantom Spector is hands down best character in Vexos and in the show. Volt was pretty chill, I remember respecting him as a kid. Lync was cool. I’m still pissed as hell that Volt got axed the way he did. He didn’t he kick and scream the kid knew he was fucked but accepted his fate like a man. But all in all New Vestroia 9/10 only because my boi Hydranoid was the one that got tortured on screen when Mira found out about Bakugans having emotions.
Thanks for doing this video! I saw it in my recommended section and it just made my day. Now, THIS season of the show was my childhood. I saw it when it only had 300 views. Someday when I actually have time to watch TV I will re-watch New Vestroia I don't care how cheesy it is I know it's pretty good. You don't have to make a part three but if you really wanted to you could. A lot of people are asking. I wouldn't complain though because I watched part of the 3rd series and still have some memories of it. Thanks again for making this video! Here's some random bits I specifically remember about this season Marucho collapsing in the desert all of the brawlers getting hunted for the attribute energies preyas avenging elfen specifically "You hurt my Elfin, my sweet little elfin and now I'm going to make you hurt!" after she was defeated and her attribute energy was stolen by tongue guy and prince guy with sword and scorpion Bakugan. (recently rewatched just this episode so I wouldn't have remembered all of this but definitely some of it) the brawlers in that computer room trying to decode something and preyas panics and the falls over in ball form onto the keyboard which breaks the code (I remember this because my and my siblings thought this was the funniest thing ever and we watched it over and over) Dan beating spectra and the clouds clear and he takes off his mask. The very next episode Spectra does a friendly battle with I think dan and then says "This time I will battle as Spectra!" as he puts on his mask. The first time I saw the mech armor on Spectra's Bakugan it was so intimidating. Lync saying he only works for three people "Me, myself, and I"
I’m actually surprised they killed so many characters, I mean this show seems to get away with a lot of dark stuff just by using silly words like death portal
It is possible it got away with it simply by the developing team along with how under the radar the show was, it was actually ahead in broadcasting than on Cartoonetwork on "Teletoons" so TH-cam had the episodes out faster (And there was that added "We'll be right back" flavor that wasn't in Cartoonetwork)
@@slufffyg503 I did like that as well. I do wish of course there was more to the bonds of the good guys than the generic ones you always see in these kinds of shows, and of course abilities that weren't just "Energy/laser blast attacks" a majority of the time, but all and all I like the action, designs, and some of the lore building in Bakugan. I think it worked pretty well and I was very surprised at what a cult classic it was online, and what a nostalgic trend it was back then, and yet it was very under the radar at the same time
I remember liking Gundalian Invaders. Although I will say that it was kinda a hybrid in quality of NV and Series 1. It has the general setup and scale of NV: But it's villains aren't really well developed IMO, at least outside of the main Antag Barodius and the Subterra minister guy Nurzak. The main protagonists outside of the main trio aren't ultra well developed outside of Ren who does go through a decent arc IMO, and does have a decent backstory akin to Shun's (He and his Bakugan pretty much were doomed to live in the shadows and be used by others for life until the events of the series took place). The "Twist" at the early part of the season was kinda spoiled by the title of the series, "Invaders" is a term not really used for the good guys, and the series isn't "Nethian Invaders". As for general positives, It does keep expanding the lore of the Bakugan Universe in a decent manner and explains the hidden data/DNA thing from New Vestroia, and expanding the lore of the universe to the origin of Bakugan themselves. As mentioned, Ren's arc is a decent arc and the fact that they do kinda keep the general thing they did with NV in that most villains who don't turn good, either die or return in the next series/arc as villains still
The only thing I think you should've done is reference Mylene's relationship with Volt, and her speech to Mira about loyalty in Episode 48. This is a pretty decent retrospective, though!
Man Volt is a chad brawler worh honor villain good guy anti hero volt really is a well written charater with such depth. Meileen or however you spell her name beautiful she was but she was definitely on a power trip. Gus just needed to wipe his mouth. Shadow Prove is a xlown but a good one. Lync is just a confused Ginka. Spectra is definitely based his balugan Helios is such a bad ass i respect both of them
I feel confident in saying that in every bakugan season I watched, I always liked the villains more than the heroes, they had a power rangers likeness to them as well as some civil war stuff between them that I actually felt had depth in them to varying degrees and I kinda wanted them to be the main characters, to see their points of views and how they may have failed or survived depending on the writing direction. Even in Season 3 and 4 and Battle Planet, I still liked the villains the most, fair to pretty good voice acting, pretty nice edge, too much civil disputes which I felt undermined their plans, but before it got too much in the way, I actually really liked most of it, and the brutality of their actions from time to time was fairly surprising to see, and I liked they were allowed to gain some wins from scoreboard wins to being able to be powerful enough (Though this varies drastically which makes it a double edged sword)
I remember this show as a kid. I remember It because one time I was so close to the The T.V. watching Bakugan that it fell on top of me.... *I stopped watching* *Bakugan after that*
I knew I wasn't just looking through rose tinted glasses when I thought the reboot series is absolute brain rot in comparison to the old show. The new show can't even come close to the level of character, plot, action, and animation development that the OG series had. This video and the previous one do it so much more justice than even I could remember, thank you for making these.
As someone who actually watched every new season while they were airing, seeing you try to describe the events of this makes me feel like all that bakugan me and my bro watched seem like a fever dream
Spectra carried an entire teenange girl like it was nothing... I don't care Runo is probably barely a 100 pounds.Carrying a 100 pound human while running and moving like that takes incredible amount of physical strenght. Damn humans are screwed out in the universe even in Bakugan
Fun fact: Gus is voiced by Crispin Freeman in the English dub. You might recognize him more as the English voice of other characters such as Alucard from the Hellsing franchise as well as Rude from Final Fantasy VII Advent Children as well as Crisis Core. He also provided the voice of Mathias Cronqvist & Hector in the Castlevania games, Setzer & Will Turner in Kingdom Hearts II, Helios in God of War III & so many more.
I fundamentally disagree with the idea that none of the girl brawlers from the first season were interesting enough to make main brawlers again. While Julie is very simple, Runo is a very defined personality that plays so well of off Dan. Plus, she's his love interest so you rhink she'd be worth a main spot. And Alice was literally masquerade. She was at one point the scariest brawler in the world. Plus, having her be a main brawler again would fill a few holes. For one, her dynamic with Link would be considerably expanded beyond one mini arc and a tragic ending. Imagine how much sadder Link's fate would be if he and Alice and had a constant back and forth throughout the second season. Secondly, the fact that Hydranoid is the bakugan that we see get tortured and made a mechanical copy for would hit so much harder if Alice was there to witness all of it first hand. Remember the Shadow vs Shun battle where we see mecha Hydranoid for the first time. Imagine if that was Alice, fighting her former best friend and then realising it's not her best friend at all. Not to mention Percival's design and personality fit Alice oh so well. Like Hydra, he's a monstrous bakugan, but he's design is more humanoid with a knight or princely asthetic, which fits Alice's delicate princess motif while harkening back to her time as masquerade. Percival's character is this 'I'm thw strongest in the world' tough guy thing which plays off of Alice's kind, gentle and mature personality so well. Finally, Alice didn't get to brawl as herself in the first season because by the time she had come into her own as a brawler, the show was in the end game. Making her the main Darkus brawler would fix that, giving her more time to shine and prove repeatedly that she begind that sweet smile and kind heart is a hard core tactician who can kick multiple asses in this game. It would have been great. I'd say Maricho is about as deep as Runo and Julie, he's main personality traits being a rich genius. I do like him, but I wouldn't be too sad leaving him behind for a bit as we follow Dan, Shun and Alice's advenuin New Vestroia. The only downside of a swap like this is that we'd miss out on Marucho getting Elfin, and Elfin is one of my favourite bakugan. While swapping Ace's attribute to Aquos and keeping his role the same works, I don't think giving him Elfin works, at least not as his main. The best I can think of is giving Ace as a fitting main Bakugan, I'm thinking of a Krakken esque design, with Elfin as fun second Pokémon who he brings out every other episode. I don't know, Alice should have been there is what I'm saying. Cool video though.
I remember how much I got into this show back in the day! I was so hype when New Vestroia came out and everyone got new slick designs, and Drago somehow got even more evolutions! Brings me back man.
Gawd, anyone else notice how much Mira got downgraded? After such a promising setup, she spends so much of the rest of the series sidelining herself to worry about other people She spent more of her screentime moaning about something than the average hentai girl
thank you very much for these two videos! I always liked bakugan as a kid and thanks to you I realized that although it is a kid's show with people playing a game it is rather well done. Not mny people would try to do a serious analysis of shows like these :)
The homies HYDRANOID is only bakugan to stalemate Drago multiple times in a row not, Naga, Dharak or Helios achieved that and let's not forget the time where he made Drago look like a fool in his 2nd form Mylene was a cold and hot sexy girl
I personally think that season 3 wasn’t that bad once it got rolling. I liked the warfare aspect of the series and the level of violence was taken to a new level. Season 4 was only badly received because it was way more dark and complicated than the previous seasons and saw massive character changes in the form of dan and drago becoming more arrogant, shun becoming extremely aggressive. And marucho staying exactly the same
It was tiring also to see that mostly every single ability attack became a laser/energy beam/lighting stream colored respectively of the attributes, it got monotonous very fast, only some of them had some extra flare, but at the end of the day they were just laser/energy beams constantly.
i enjoyed this I watched it when I was 9 years old when it was first airing on CN i had a huge crush on Mira back then r. banger season was really well written and spectra is my favorite villain. i especially liked how they flesh out the vexos as individuals after 2 very bland villains in Naga and Hal G. thank you for talking about this series that was all my childhood no one really talks about it Ps Mira is best girl and should've ended up with Dan. I must have missed the quarter of the show or had just forgotten about it because I forgot that shit with the mechanical Bakugan happened. Honestly, I don't have great memories of this season because they got kinda ditched the three girls who were my favorites, and kept Marucho, which made me upset, but you made me want to re-watch it. The bad guys really did die, I can't believe that they actually did that.
I've been rewatching New Vestria and honestly, this shit is why I love explosions and techno. I was five when they debuted, and I remember watching the first two episodes when they aired, and let me just say, I lost my shit then, I lost my shit when I was in fourth grade, I lost my shit when I watched it all for the first time in its entirety, and I'm losing my shit now. I grew up on Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokemon, Bayblades, this, and many more of the card game cartoons/Poké-clones shows. So trust me my opinion is fully valid when I say in terms of storytelling and everything it's third behind Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh for me but mainly Yu-Gi-Oh is what I have the most nogaista for and Pokémon is Pokémon... This was airing around the same time as Yu-Gi-Oh 5ds and Diamond and Pearl, two peaks of their shows. Yet, in many ways, it beats 5ds but is still behind DP because well, the storytelling in that shit is insane. So I thank you for this video to once again reconnect me to one of the shows I will never forget about.

Ooh that would have been so dope!
Honestly when I was younger it always bothered me that when Preyas evolved he got two brothers in one but in New Vestroia nobody said anything about them I heard that something happened to the voice actor but come on even Preyas himself didn't even mention them and yes they show up in mechtanium surge but only to be destroyed with everyone else
The last time I was this early Danny Phantom was still alive
Overused memes aside glad to see you're continuing this retrospective 👌
I'm loving this retrospective, and would totally watch part 3. So let's make him do part 3.
"C'mon guys, he's just 14 years old"
-a 15 years old
... jesus. What was his life like?
Looking at Baron, then him.
@@firepuppies4086 baron is 12 i think XD
@@cesar6447 dude got those Jojo genes
Id just like to mention that the best moment in season 2 is when Klaus gives Spectra sass, despite knowing he would get destroyed in a fight. The monotone voice acting makes this moment even better.
Yes, but did you know that Earth has juice, in boxes?!
Ha
Go on....
To this day I clearly hear his voice...
I remember that episode and now that i read this comment made laugh so hard
I guess on Vestal they figured out how to make dispensers and keep their drinks in plastic or metal bottles that are probably reusable in a very short amount of time that juice boxes were not thought of for quick and easy enjoyment of beverages
I never believed I would be getting mad at Bakugan today about how they treated Volt and Lync, 2 characters from a show I watched 10 years ago.
Hey Bro.... just wanna say.... I love you for covering New Vestroia since no one else has, you the man 👍🏼
Season 2 was pretty cool. Honestly the best out of the season.
Great video! Seriously, it is hard to find videos that break down Bakugan so well. Thank you for all the time you must have put into this project too. Now... about part three and four. Maybe after a break or sometime next year? Eh? Eh?
Nah, I am just kidding. Keep up the good work, man. I came for the Bakugan, but will be sticking around for more quality content.
Part:1 Battle Brawlers: Rough Animation but a decent story with ok characters
Part:2 New Vestroia: Animation is a lot better and a slightly messy story but good characters and fights
Part:3 Gandalian Invaders: The best part with Good story better characters and more unique designs and pretty awesome fights
Part:4 Mectainum Surge Wow did they drop the ball on the story and now we have Time travel ok sure?
(Edit: this is my opinion because I have to clarify that on the internet)
I agree on part 3, but it also has the worst pussying out in the entire series (henchmen "deaths")
@@floricel_112 The person who had Rubynoid full on drop down a cliff and was confirmed dead
@@kingsdayinfirmi I meant when each of them was "killed" for their blunders against the brawlers (though the true reason was to use them as scapegoats for their superiors own blunders)
@@floricel_112 I know I was more just saying how he did die but yeah was a bit of a cop out with the rest of them
Aaaaaaand then there's the reboot, and I'm pretty sure no one knows what's going on there...
For the people who don't want to watch gundalian Invaders
Drago absorbs god
Yeah he really did just eat god, and yet he still struggles later on in the series
@@r.r815 int was explained in the first half of Mechtanium surge, but the second half has no explanation unless he was holding back.
Yeah, and apparently they fuckin forgot he had access to the power of the Perfect Core.
@@r.r815 That's standard kids show logic. ''oh, you have this super overpowered ability? Gonna have to forget you can fix the problem instantly for the sake of forced tension or drama''.
Janiz Makudomaru second season said he became more powerful than the perfect core itself so it makes sense that he wouldn’t need to access its power
Where’s part 3? Also sadly disappointed with lack of feet :(
What are you? Dan Schneider?
I miss Alice from the original show. Not a lot of orange hair anime girl.
Well, there was Mira.
yeah Alice was my fav girl at the time I even made an oc base off of her some and design a bit lol😂I was a young and this was before I knew about the online art community much so yeah😅
Wait a minute.....
- a believed to be Missing/dead brother
- wears a mask to hide identity
- opposes the protagonists on multiple occasion
- has a mainly red colour scheme
Okay, that tears it, Spectra is a freakin' CHAR CLONE in the Bakugan series! How have I not noticed this for all these years?
I thought racer x.
I’m glad your channel is expanding dude, you deserve it
Fantastic review!
19:11 Oh yeah, I remember James from the Pokémon franchise!
THANK YOU i thought i was the only one who didn't like the new battling. There's no strategy anymore. Just "ability activate" and that's it
Thing with Spectra is that he was a bit butchered by the English dub.
Didn't she have a crush on dan.
@@fightingmedialounge519 Yeah, but it's to throw people off her obsession with her bro that no one os thrown off by.
@@JanizMakudomaru I don't think anyone even acknowledged the crush.
@@fightingmedialounge519 of course not
Phantom Spector is hands down best character in Vexos and in the show.
Gus the most loyal man on earth
Thanks for doing this video! I saw it in my recommended section and it just made my day. Now, THIS season of the show was my childhood. I saw it when it only had 300 views. Someday when I actually have time to watch TV I will re-watch New Vestroia I don't care how cheesy it is I know it's pretty good.
You don't have to make a part three but if you really wanted to you could. A lot of people are asking. I wouldn't complain though because I watched part of the 3rd series and still have some memories of it. Thanks again for making this video!
Here's some random bits I specifically remember about this season
Marucho collapsing in the desert
all of the brawlers getting hunted for the attribute energies
preyas avenging elfen specifically "You hurt my Elfin, my sweet little elfin and now I'm going to make you hurt!" after she was defeated and her attribute energy was stolen by tongue guy and prince guy with sword and scorpion Bakugan. (recently rewatched just this episode so I wouldn't have remembered all of this but definitely some of it)
the brawlers in that computer room trying to decode something and preyas panics and the falls over in ball form onto the keyboard which breaks the code (I remember this because my and my siblings thought this was the funniest thing ever and we watched it over and over)
Dan beating spectra and the clouds clear and he takes off his mask.
The very next episode Spectra does a friendly battle with I think dan and then says "This time I will battle as Spectra!" as he puts on his mask.
The first time I saw the mech armor on Spectra's Bakugan it was so intimidating.
Lync saying he only works for three people "Me, myself, and I"
I friggin love new vestroia!
Spectra was absolutely fabulous
I’m actually surprised they killed so many characters, I mean this show seems to get away with a lot of dark stuff just by using silly words like death portal
It is possible it got away with it simply by the developing team along with how under the radar the show was, it was actually ahead in broadcasting than on Cartoonetwork on "Teletoons" so TH-cam had the episodes out faster (And there was that added "We'll be right back" flavor that wasn't in Cartoonetwork)
@@TheKpa11 Im kinda glad they were able to take their show seriously enough to not hold back at times.
I think it worked pretty well and I was very surprised at what a cult classic it was online, and what a nostalgic trend it was back then, and yet it was very under the radar at the same time
Volt had a surprising amount of character depth. i remember being genuinely sad when he got portal'd in my most recent rewatch
The girly dude with blue hair is called Gus. Amazing.
im just sad that runo and alice were sidelined so much
I remember liking Gundalian Invaders.
As mentioned, Ren's arc is a decent arc and the fact that they do kinda keep the general thing they did with NV in that most villains who don't turn good, either die or return in the next series/arc as villains still
Link screams Kokichi Ouma vibes
"He annoys me and yet charms me at the same time"
Yeah that's Kokichi
play Danganronpa
if you listen closely he uses danganronpa background music and even mentions the game in some episodes, ladies and gentlemen, we got em
is that the one where talented people kill each other?
The only thing I think you should've done is reference Mylene's relationship with Volt, and her speech to Mira about loyalty in Episode 48. This is a pretty decent retrospective, though!
Bakugan New Vestroia was the best fuckin series.
And how can we forget Mylenes many attempts to kill Mira!
Let's be real. We only remember Chan Li for her body.
I didn’t even remember her
@@biggoofy Exactly
People should stop looking down on this show. All 4 seasons were awesome.
Bakugan is best anime of all time. Childhood favourite
Oh goooooood my childhood. I'm an adult now, but I'm still obsessed with the show tbh.
I remember this show as a kid.
I remember It because one time I was so close to the The T.V. watching Bakugan that it fell on top of me....
*I stopped watching*
*Bakugan after that*
I knew I wasn't just looking through rose tinted glasses when I thought the reboot series is absolute brain rot in comparison to the old show. The new show can't even come close to the level of character, plot, action, and animation development that the OG series had. This video and the previous one do it so much more justice than even I could remember, thank you for making these.
I liked this era of Bakugan too and when those gray gargoyle monsters took over Vestroia too
As someone who actually watched every new season while they were airing, seeing you try to describe the events of this makes me feel like all that bakugan me and my bro watched seem like a fever dream
Spectra carried an entire teenange girl like it was nothing... I don't care Runo is probably barely a 100 pounds.Carrying a 100 pound human while running and moving like that takes incredible amount of physical strenght. Damn humans are screwed out in the universe even in Bakugan
Season 2 is definitely my favorite out of the show I love the characters the escalation of conflict and especially the 3 part story
Binging these today thanks recommended section for bringing me back to one of my favourite childhood shows.
Did anyone else have a crush on Mira when they where a kid?
I did

aint gonna lie yea
I have a soft spot for Mira. I was in a phase where I had a fetish for white gloves.
So when we getting that part 3
They should’ve remastered this instead of what we’ve got now
Or given us a season 5 with these guys
*remembers Total Drama All Stars*
On a second thought...
If you think about it, it makes sense that Mira joined the bad guys temporarily.
After such a promising setup, she spends so much of the rest of the series sidelining herself to worry about other people
She spent more of her screentime moaning about something than the average hentai girl
Spectre Phantom is the Char Aznable of Bakugan lol
I Know you don't want to do a part 3... But...
Marvel's Bakugan came from season 3
It was actually season 4. They included some season 2 and 3 bakugan in with them though
Hi I love your vids thanks for the inspiration
i only know most of the villains from the first season because i've played the wii game like 50 times over
lync is my favorite boy that is all
YESSSS LYNC
thank you very much for these two videos! I always liked bakugan as a kid and thanks to you I realized that although it is a kid's show with people playing a game it is rather well done. Not mny people would try to do a serious analysis of shows like these :)
Bakugan is my favourite TV show .
Funfact: Xenoheld is Mr krabs in the German dub
Honestly i love that some people actually remember bakugan
The homies HYDRANOID is only bakugan to stalemate Drago multiple times in a row not, Naga, Dharak or Helios achieved that and let's not forget the time where he made Drago look like a fool in his 2nd form
Mylene was a cold and hot sexy girl
Now that life size transformer would be nice dad.
The reason I remember the bald guy's name is Julios is cause of the bakugan game where his name popped up and young me thought his name was weird.
Whoever created Bakugan must really like Masks a lot. Because of how many characters in this series hide there identity behind maskes so much.
i enjoyed this I watched it when I was 9 years old when it was first airing on CN i had a huge crush on Mira back then r. banger season was really well written and spectra is my favorite villain. i especially liked how they flesh out the vexos as individuals after 2 very bland villains in Naga and Hal G. thank you for talking about this series that was all my childhood no one really talks about it
Ps Mira is best girl and should've ended up with Dan. FIGHT ME

You also forgot about the bakugan trap plot - subplot that never went anywhere. It was replaced by the BT system plot.
I liked this season but the one thing that pissed me off was that Angelo and Diablo weren’t mentioned at all during this season nor any season after it.
Gus the most loyal guy alive
Wow this is a really good retrospective. Really enjoyed watching it and listening to your thoughts.
Even if the rules got massively simplified in season 2 it’s easily my favorite season
This is like finding that one hentai you where trying to find
