Static shock was one of my favorite animated dc cartoons growing up. In my opinion this show embodied ture Diversity at its best. It managed to tackle serious issues without diluting the story. The Interactions between static shock and gear were one of the best Friendships I have ever seen. It's one of those shows I wish it had continued for a little longer sometimes.

The 3rd season's animation was upgraded to be a full on DCAU show. That way it would be easier to cross over with Batman Beyond, The New Batman Adventures, Superman The Animated Series and Justice League which it did.

That's something we some of us want and that's coming from someone who wished the show continued. But the way wb/dc is currently runned. They'll would rather renew shows like teen titans go. Plus that static shock has a lot of copyright problems wb/dc wouldn't have any interest in taking care of or paying milestone for the use of the characters. They've haven't respected static shock all that much in recent years.
