I have looked all over the internet. I guess Boston downtown area just crashes. Nobody can figure out how to fix it. It hit me tonight. It was built using Windows XP. What we are experiencing as gamers is equivalent to the blue screen of death. You can't fix it because it was built that way.
I can pin point the area so well after numerous frame drops (I'm on Xbox one) even with whispering hills installed I saw a single corner of a building and turned around. I think I only crashed out once for me it always happens at that little intersection where raiders have a camp under a bridge and there's gunners just down the street. So my best guess is that it's something to do with how much has to load there. Gunners, raiders, and supermutants all in one fairly condensed area not to mention I believe mirelurks spawn a bit away as do radstags. What could have fixed it was just making downtown Boston bigger so things are more spread out.
@@ralcogaming7674 Heymarket mall, Faneuli hall will crash Everytime I get close. I think that's why also. Just too much to load. It makes the freedom trail nearly impossible to follow. Food for the grasshopper is bad too. I'm on XBOX also. Doesn't freeze in the country parts so much, but yeah downtown is bad.
