Hi Peter, the solar panel we have has its own built in solar controller so it goes straight to the battery, i suppose if it didnt have one built in then one would need fitting before it goes to the battery.
Dear Northerers we love your vids! We camp - mainly at shell island. but we (me) need electric. I want my tablet to watch the odd tv programme. is the Ecoflow 2 worth buying? also what would you recommend for a good WiFi signal? I love camping, went to Shell Island in 1971 with mom n dad. we love Menorca, but think camping is the new vacation. please help

We could not give you our opinion on the Ecoflow as we haven't used one but i watched a great video by Urban Van Life and they go through the Ecoflow 2 in depth th-cam.com/video/cLUIyKrd9ts/w-d-xo.html. Does this just plug straight on your leisure battery or is there a solar charger unit it goes too first? Great idea rather than fixed panels.
