What got me pieddd off was the Veteran Jobs and the stipulations on how or if you would get paid. Weekly lease.,gas Jobs were always dispatched late they had their favorites contracting with a company is not a good idea. You got to do the research..... Honestly Sad how they are taking advantage of good drivers . Anyway do your research ask their driver's ....
I'm on the verge of buying a wheel chair van. I'm terrified because I don't know where to start from there. I know I have to change the van to commercial. And get signed on with medical. I wish there was a list in order.
How do you know how much to charge with transports in the city and how much do your charge on long distances? I’m very interested in starting my on business non/medical transports. This is something I talked about for years, if I can get my feet in the ground I’ll quit my law enforcement job
Well, its a little hard to say without knowing what services you provide and where you are located. But you can easily call companies in the area and ask what they charge as a starting point.
Hello. I have a suv grand jeep cherokee limited. Can I start a NEMT business with this vehicle or does it need to be a van? I will be using my nemt for children transportation as well as taking seniors to their appointments. I know some seniors are wheelchair bound and I wouldn't be able to take them but I need to start with what I have. What do you suggest? Also, do you know about doing business with insurance companies? I am not familiar with brokers.
Hello my name is Claire I started a Transportation Company last month with that being said you can write a grant letter to your Congressmen they have millions for small businesses owners also once you have your LLC and business bank account grantor's will be willing to give you money once you buy a van in LLC name your not paying taxes for the van!!
I would ask the seller who installed the equipment and if it’s something like mobility works you’re fine if it’s something very aftermarket I might hold off.

Hey thanks for the question! I am not familiar with them. My first NEMT biz was in Phoenix. I did not use any brokers at that time. My channel’s focus is about not relying on brokers. I’m probably gonna have my next video on this topic.
