I don't know about reasonably priced. The used ones are almost as much as the new ones which aren't that reasonably priced considering the lack of changes over the last 10 years. Even used, it costs tens of thousands more than a brand new GT350R, GT500 or C8...
@@OlJackBurton there are several used in the 60-80k range. The new ones are still a decent value considering performance. Nissan hasn’t changed it because it hasn’t really needed it. The GT R is in a unique space, far above a mustang as you mentioned. They simple don’t compete whatsoever. The corvette may, but the GT R is more unique with its sort of super car experience.

The car should cost A LOT less, for what you're getting. If Cadillac would've gave the 2nd gen CTS coupe the Lf3 from the ATS V, or just gave the CTSV coupe an AWD option we could've had a space coupe with all the same tech and luxury years ago for like 75k

Now it has its engined tweaked into other lexus lineup, but the isf has not come back or been kept up with :/ yes I know not many can even afford or will buy the car brand new even the ones begging for car manufacturers to do this and that, but we still just want them to keep them thriving and evolving! Both gtr and isf still getting more tuners to produce kits that make em supercars at a fraction of the supercars' prices!
She's getting long in the years, but still a fantastic car. Hopefully Nissan gives it some love like they're doing all their cars. Another great review Joe.

The GTR is one insane super car. My son has a 14 Black Edition. Decent amount of mods on e85 has @800hp to the wheels. Probably the fastest car I’ve ever driven from a launch. Well worth the money regardless of its age. It’ll blow the doors off of any 200-400k exotic out there, gets decent gas mileage and can carry two people and their belongings. Car was so ahead of its time when introduced and still holds up against anything new today! Great review and I’m sure probably one of fastest cars you’ve driven from a launch.

I have loved the GT-R since it first arrived here. A friend has let me drive his, which is about the same year as this one. Yeah, hitting the accelerator takes your breath away. But this design desperately needs a total revolutionary redesign, perhaps as dramatic as the stunning new Mid-Engine Corvette. Never seen anyone who has driven, or owned one that doesn't have a crazed grin when they describe driving that monster machine.
I went from a 650 HP 2018 Mustang and traded it in for a 2009 Base GTR model, I will admit I had my regrets but the moment I let that thing rip on the highway it was a complete different beast considering it's a 14 year old car and the amount of attention it gets made me feel more comfortable with the change.
I don’t understand why people want a redesign cars prefect just need a refresh every few years like Porsche dose the 911 if they redesign it everyone’s just gonna say it sucks old one was better! Oh ya great video and love to see more super car killers great job on the cam Lori

Still the best bang for your buck. For the four cylinder it would be the srt4 or cobalt ss the 6 cylinder GTR and 8 cylinder corvette 10 cylinder viper.
No matter how old it is, how low tech (compared to the current “super car), how it doesn’t have a 20” touchscreen dash. I don’t care. I would buy it over anything. It’s an 10 years plus car, but it still talked about, even today. Correct me if I’m wrong, but What other cars have that history.
