I think that for me as a beginner it's important to film as often as possible, but it's hard to get away from the home office because of my day job. This has helped me see some possibilities and I'm already thinking up short scenes and ideas. Sub'd and liked, thank you.
That’s amazing!! I’m so happy to hear that! And if you can make the normal look cinematic, and really learn how to do it, you can make the normal stuff look AMAZING and that will be an incredible skill! Can’t wait to see what you end up creating!
that IMPACT Font
I love it so much haha!
@@Rene_Arseneau ngl the "impact" font is a good font but how you use it is what really makes it pop. I think you should have removed the black outline and give it a sort of a warm yellow color to it. I notice a lot of people typically put font color based on the mood or vibe and place the text in a way that it doesn't take away too much from the shot. Also, might I recommend another Sans Serif font called "Coolvetica" the Compressed variable style will have a similar look to Impact but not as wide.
P.s. I'm not trying to impose on your film making skills, but i just wanted to point that out for the specific shot. I too im trying to do "film" and "cinematics"
@@itsnottydal those are great tips! I’m still testing out different font types and styles, I did go with a bit of an off white for this one, which I found made it pop a bit, but yeah il try options without the stroke around it next time. but il definitely check out « coolvetica » it looks like such a cool font! Thanks for the tip 😃
@@Rene_Arseneau no problem. glad my words could be of some use to someone of such great caliber. Just subscribed btw

great video man!
Glad you liked it!
Seriously underrated, but what is the end goal for you and this channel?
Thank you so much! The end goal is to make TH-cam my full time thing. Or even a mix or both, but I want to push more projects through the channel, and I have some pretty interesting projects coming out over the next few weeks. So I’m putting everything I have while still working as a filmmaker. As for the direction of the channel, I want to keep making things that inspire me, so a mix of educational things that I learn, some cinematic personal projects that I want to shoot, and some shorts. So that’s kind of the goal for now :) oh and B.T.S of my bigger projects that I work on as a Cinematographer.
And thanks for the watch and comment! Hopefully the future videos will have you come back :)
Wait you were just filming your life i thought it was a short film or something. Holy hell it's so cool 😆
Haha thanks man! :)

This challenged me a lot! But i got inspired. I'll Come back and edit this comment after some time!
I’m so happy it got you inspired!! 😊
I loved the cinematic intro, compositions, and color grading. Keep it up, René. Subscribed and activated the bell. I can't wait for your upcoming videos. 👏
What tool or adapter did you use to hook up your camera to the C-stand 2:11?
Thank you so much!! So happy you enjoyed the video! And I just used one of those 750 spigot pins (1/4 to 3/8 inch Metal Male Convertor Threaded Screw Adapter Spigot to be exact) I’m looking at a better setup for the future but this works great with just a DSLR camera or anything light weight 😊
You're very welcome. I really did enjoy it. Thank you for posting it and for answering my question. I hope your next setup works for you as the current setup that you have. Every shot looked good. 😊
No worries Always happy to respond to questions especially about how I did a shot!
@@Rene_Arseneau That is so nice of you to take the time to do that. I wish you so much success in your filmmaking career and YT channel.
