    You forgot about the most important upgrade to be made for an SV650, FRONT SUSPENSION!

      Seriously

      @@Johnnyreengo- All I've done to my Gen 1 FRONT SUSPENSION is put 20s oil in the forks and fitted Gen2 preload adjusters. The front suspension might feel a bit crude but I can't upset the front end no matter how hard I try! It goes where I point it, stays glued to the line and lets me feel the road through the tire! It's not exactly super smooth or refined but neither is anything else about an old SV650 anyway.

      I'd love to take credit for that, but I've heard it before 🤣🤣

      I had the tl500 syndrome on my tl1000s for about 300km's during heavy rain when i fetched my bike.

      Yea, think it's a pretty common issue on suzuki's twins tbh. Not good on a 300km trip...

      @@TheChequeredFlagOriginal i know. But i was in the middle of nowhere in the middle of the night. I got it sorted out the next day by cutting 1cm of the plug cable and changed the engine oil. But i fear i might have lost some compression in the front cylinder.

      Fair enough! 🤣🤣 yea they are definitely much better for comfort and handling, but I think I'd rate an end can higher in the list still 🤣🤣🤣 boys will be boys lol

      @@TheChequeredFlagOriginal i am consoderinf the lextek YP4, got 400ml Beowulf at the moment which loves to pop

    • @TheChequeredFlagOriginal
      @TheChequeredFlagOriginal  ปีที่แล้ว

      Had the beowulf on my old sv, think it was a 350mm... sounded incredible! Real deep tone, proper loud, was awesome!
      The lextek gp8c I have on mine is a good compromise volume wise, with a nice deepish tone. Also looks fab in carbon fibre! Tried a stubby (250mm) can last year, jeez that thing was loud lol
