Oh absolutely! I sold mine as I wasn't bashing as much, I do more racing now... There are some good upgrades out there, I've featured a few on some of my other videos... It's still excellent value for money imo. Although, when I return to bashing, I'll be looking at a 4s platform. Whether that be another corally or an arrma, is the only question lol

Yea there are some weak points for sure, but fundamentally it's a decent rig once you account for those parts... The esc is actually a quality unit, I think it's a rebranded hobbywing esc. There's no need to upgrade that at all. I wouldn't recommend a more powerful motor either, that will just destroy the gearbox imo. Definitely get some spares... My recommend spares would be; Suspension arms Diff outdrives Shock shafts Shock caps Oh, and tighten up the outdrive cups (that attatch to the prop shaft), and use thread lock on them. @@TheChequeredFlagOriginal i got totally burnt on one my Mrs wanted to buy a couple of years ago. A 2007 manual cooper. Suspension was totally buggered. Bought for 1800, got 400 back from a mechanic sold to that I was upfront with on the issues who could do the work on and get sorted. Cosmetically nice. But lack of service history should have made me run a mile.

@version736ha2 they really are great to drive, I was really surprised how well it handled! And it was surprisingly quick for a 1.6! But yea, reliability is a major issue, along with cost of parts. Sorry you got burnt buddy, hopefully it won't happen again! I think the guy that i bought mine off knew full well it had a ton of problems. Some crafty people out there!!

@@mickeymouse4897 funny enough, that'd exactly what I'm looking at doing to my new car.... I tried this headlight kit on my wife's car a while ago, after she'd already purchased the kit. Tbf, there was a noticeable difference, but they're hardly perfect

@barbaranalezinska4656 I sold mine earlier this year, it was about to cost me a small fortune! I think most people are happy with their niros, however they do have issues. I had quite a few minor issues, which were dealt with under warranty. However, the big issue was with the gearbox; occasionally there would be a loud BANG!! And it's a semi common problem, which could cost £4k to fix!! So I offloaded it and lost a few quid. I also changed jobs at the same time, and I only had the car as I was a taxi driver. Would I buy another one? No Would I recommend one? No Are they a lovely car? Yes Are they well priced? Yes Hope this helps buddy

@Thecarandfortniteguy I bought a 2s lipo for it, think it's a 1400 mah... It was quick enough for my son when he was 7. Personally though, I would recommend the brushless version, does about 25 mph out of the box, and can apparently run a 3s lipo. Also check out my video of the mjx hyper go, that thing is mental!

@AdamSmith-ep2uq hey buddy, it still works fine tbh... The issue is more the socket in the volvo isn't great, and occasionally it drops signal. It also looks pretty cheap tbh. Where the socket is mounted in the volvo, it's also easy to catch the Bluetooth receiver and knock it out of place. I'm looking at replacing it with something that has a rechargeable battery, and maybe something with a screen too, so I can see what song is playing. As a short term solution, it's actually pretty good. Especially for the price

@DuhSimpleMan it was reliable, in that it started every single day... but a ton of things went wrong with it, and in the end I sold it for a massive loss. I wouldn't recommend a kia niro to anyone tbh. Hope this helps!

@@TheChequeredFlagOriginal The T5 is very torque-y, plus the sound of the 5 pot is great, though the stock exhaust is so quiet. I think I need to get a sportier muffler. Overall, it's not the most luxurious, or the sportiest, but it does a fine job of balancing those 2. For me, it's perfect as a commuter/grocery-getter in a big city. Will be watching for your future vids...

Yea you gotta replace that quiet exhaust! I'll be getting a custom back box on mine, but will probably have to wait until early next year (super broke atm lol). Yea I reckon the whole c30 range is a good mix of a sporty/luxury, wrapped up in a wallet friendly package... Not a game changer in any way, more a jack of all trades. In a good way lol. That's ace! Plenty more c30 vids coming this way...
