@@TheChequeredFlagOriginal Yes i agree it isnt a Bad platform actually. It drives well enough. Its plenty fast enough when geared up a little . Even on grass just a grip roll , would break the wing, crack the body and bend a shock shaft and or a drive shaft. Its cheap to repair but its the frequency of repair that got to me. I sold mine .

It's insane on 6s!! I ended up selling this one, as there's nowhere near me where I can properly use it...

@polltegrais6457 I think the petrol engines were ford engines (all the parts say they fit volvo 1.6 and ford focus 1.6 engines). Either way, I'm chuffed with the motor

I'd say the mjx is a better all rounder in all honesty. It's faster, tougher, and seams better put together. But it is smaller. Also considerably cheaper

@TheChequeredFlagOriginal thanks for the honest feedback. I have a few mjx so parts are quite interchangeable. Guess if I got the FTX it would need a whole different set of spares too. I know their tracer is a tough beast but heard the carnage is more prone to breaking.

That's a bloody good idea! I ordered a pair of 3s balance cable extenders, which makes charging my 3s lipos waaaay easier. Bur charging my 2s lipos is still quite a struggle 🤣🤣

Honestly, I'm totally smitten! Sat down low, with a decent note from the exhaust, it feels fast going 30 mph 🤣🤣 and the suspension is stiff, yet those big chunky tyres provide a smooth ride. The steering is direct and precise... it really is a fun little car!

Well I've had this charger for 8 months now, and it's been perfect. I've used it at least once a week, and regularly charge 2 2s lipos or 2 3s lipos with it. I'm very pleased with it, especially for the price!

@hyperannatv3387 yes, that's correct. The highest you can charge is 5 amps per channel, so high capacity batteries may take a while to charge. For reference, my 5200 mah lipos Take about 1 hour 20 minutes @ 5 amps. A higher capacity battery would take longer

Tamiyas are truly terrible... But the tamiya truck racing is loads of fun! Plus it's super cheap (when compared with other rc racing disciplines)
