Great tips for winter holiday packing! It's true that winter trips require a bit more thought and strategy when it comes to packing. Your suggestions for different types of coats based on the holiday destination are helpful, as it's important to find a balance between style and functionality. I totally agree that investing in a good quality coat is essential. The idea of renting ski gear at the resort is a smart way to save space in your suitcase. Layering up with a thermoball jacket and an outer shell jacket is a fantastic tip for outdoor activities. I appreciate the emphasis on accessories like gloves, hats, and scarves, which not only provide extra warmth but also add variety to your outfits. The mention of base layers for keeping warm and dry is spot on. Thanks for sharing these practical and insightful packing tips for a winter holiday!
i’m going to Yorkshire on Monday and it’s really cold down there right now! i’m trying to prepare as i am actually packing for me and my sister who loves to over pack. got some portable chargers on charge and headphones to go on charge next i don’t know what else i should prep now though.. still don’t have my suitcase down from the attic! :))
Thank you for including EVERYTHING, including skincare. Ill be taking trips to Utah and Colorado back to back, and this is so helpful! Also you are so lovely! 😍
Loved your video! Love your style, not over the top with a lot of adjectives, not yelling at you style. It makes us feel like we are there and you are talking to us personally, we can focus on what you are saying, unlike some, where their hands are flying around. Thank you for all the tips.
It is on the higher end but equally, it's well worth it especially when it's -10 degrees and you're on top of a mountain or chairlift. You can pay up to $250 for a pair. Ski gloves will last you a number of years so it's a good investment especially when they're super warm & high quality. x
If I was going skiing more than once. I’d buy a pair because I’d rather enjoy my time than freeze with cheaper gloves :) I’m too poor to buy cheap nowadays😭
Thank you for this video! I'm watching in December 2021 before my first winter holiday in Scandinavia. This is such a useful and practical video of recommendations! 🙌
Icebreaker (made from merino wool) and Mammoth clothing are good quality and light for wearing. Avoid heavy chunky clothing - not worn in Switzerland or Scandinavia.
You packed really cute things! I love those socks and hats. I live in florida so I don't wear stuff like that LOL but I love traveling to places that allow me to wear cold weather attire. I have to admit though I do hate packing for winter because like you said everything is so big and bulky. But packing cubes definitely help!
Ahh thank you lovely!! YES I bet you guys get beaut weather year round so you don't really need it! But I agree, it's always nice to get bundled up. To be honest I often find I'm a lot more picky with winter packing as I physically can't take my whole wardrobe (which I would do if I could! haha) but it's definitely hard when things are bulkier! Thx for watching girl! xx
Ahhh that's so sweet of you to say, glad you like them and find them useful!! It's so easy to take your whole wardrobe when you go away in winter, it's hard to know what to pack sometimes. It is a tricky one with ski boots, especially if you already have your own as they will obviously fit your foot perfectly. We always rent gear as we don't have our own ski boots but they're usually in great condition/nice and clean etc. I've seen people take their ski boots on board the airplane before or put them in a carry-on suitcase, so that's one option I guess :) The struggle is real though, I agree!!
Thanks so much Melissa, you're so sweet! It's from a brand called Demande Generale. They're based in Montreal, their scarves are SO beautiful. Just got a new one this year in dusty pink and I love it. They're not cheap but they're amazing quality + really durable so it's a great investment! xx
This is a perfect because I'm going to Flaggstaff next week for my cousins b-day and we are renting a cabin! Very helpful cause the clothes are so bulky and hard to fit everything into a suitcase ❤
Thank you for making this video:) It's hard to find travel tip videos that talk about winter skin care. If you could make a video describing how you take care of your skin during winter months that would be great!
I got mine from Roots Canada lovely!! They no longer have the red or purple one, but they do have a few block colours at the moment, I just bought one (the same style again! lol) in a light grey and I love it :) xx
"Roots" hats...are you in Canada? I love my Roots wear. Great video. I've been to England in February, after a snow storm and packed 'carry on' luggage only! It can be done and you can stay warm...you just have to have the right clothes. TIP: Don't bring anything with cotton/cotton blend.
Yeah Roots have some great stuff!! Carry on can definitely be done but I guess it depends on the holiday. England is quite tame and the landscapes aren't that varied, but when you need big snow boots or ski gear it's a bit more tricky. Hope you had a lovely time in England!! :)
I want to go germany at 28 dec. but Georgia's has hard time because of covid-19. so i dont know if i can.. but i want so muuch :( this video (and like this videos) make me happy :( and gives me hope :( P.s (edit) sorry for my bad english ^^
Nattha Pairsuwan I’ve shown a big selection of products so everything likely wouldn’t fit as there’s such a range, but I may do that on another video :)

"$150, which I think is on the higher end for gloves"
GLOVES
