Hey just a quick tip on the away bags... which I use for frequent travel. If you put your clothes on the side opposite the zipper area, you can use the compression pad to condense clothes for a better fit and allowing you to pack or bring back more. The zippered side is meant for shoes, bags, toiletries and other hard items so they are not crushed or condensed. Love your videos!

I love this because it's for winter travel most vlogs are during spring/summer when clothes are less bulky and easier to pack so great tips I'll definitely try on my next European vacation whenever covid restrictions end.
Annlaug Maria Tolo yeah it sucks alot when I travel to my american fiance from europe the american airline I always use isn’t that tough. I try to use a bigger handbag which I have always gotten away with. I always carry that with my medical supplies (diabetic) and I also try to keep the liquids down and just buy american shampoo and other stuff like body lotion. I have done international trip for over a week now with only carry on I never want to go back to getting a huge suitcase with me again to much of a hassle
This is allowed in Europe, too. I don't know which airlines the original commenter has flown with, but with Finnair you can have your bag/suitcase which needs to fit into certain measurements and a smaller backpack or similar to put under the seat in front of you.
I was able to do a two week trip to Boston & NYC with a carryon and actually had a lot of room to spare. I ended up not using everything but with the things I bought on my trip, I still had enough room.
I get so frustrated watching these packing videos which by the way I love! but living in Australia, nearly ALL the airlines only allow 7kg carry on bag and either a laptop bag or a small handbag. Your two bags would be considered two carry on's, also judging by what you placed in your suitcase, that would definitely excede 7kg weight limit. I would love to just travel with carry on but I'm still trying to perfect the downsize especially when 2kg is just lugguage case without putting anything in it :(
leonie kennedy oh this is so true and I also was waiting to hear the total weight of her carry-on and backpack. I'm wondering how I can pack a carry-on and a handbag for just 7kg in total. My carry-on itself is 3kg so depressively I just have 4kg left. My trip is 1 week with winter clothes also. Oh dear 😑

Great packing, but a question, have you any idea about carrying on a “carry on”, “purse” and a “backpack “ ? I was behind a woman recently waiting to board and they would not let her board with the three. They made her check in her “carry on” as they explained to her that the purse was in essence the third personal item. She was not happy. Having said that I have boarded lots of times with the three and have watched others do the same. Mind you my purse is a very tiny cross body. And have lots of fun......I love Banff. It’s beautiful there.
Wasn't her purse " inside " of the backpack? They let me do that all the time. Plus, sometimes I put 2 small crossbody bags in my back pack if I want to have different color choices.???
Ohhh no that would suck!! I stuffed my purse in my backpack to avoid that just in case hehe! Then when I'm on the plane I just grab my purse out to keep at my seat 💖

Could you please do a video on what accessories to wear WITH GLASSES? the days I don't wear contacts I get insecure what earrings and necklaces to wear..without looking like a decorated tree!! It would be really really really helpful..perhaps also some general tips on what style earrings and necklaces go with metal vs plastic, dark vs light frames. Hugs! :)
My general rule when it comes to accessories is to do either bigger earrings & small necklace (or no necklace) or do bigger necklace & small stud earrings. I think that would work well with glasses incorporated too :) Or pairing more minimal jewelry together - and I typically like to match my metals gold with gold and silver with silver.

I had managed to take a carry on luggage only, for 2 weeks in October in England. Always wear the bulkiest clothes when you go on the plane!

In Europe this would be considered 2 carry OBS. We are 8nly allowed 1 hand bag and obe small size roller bag or backpack. Not both.

Actually u can have a total carry on & personal item at 12kg combine for most airlines...

If you were using most UK airlines this would be counted as two carry on items, which essentially it is. And no nightwear, no slippers.
