Very nice video! Have used this as a guidance for my BMW X5 F15. Which sunroof is very similar to this one. Only difference was that the 5 clips holding in the canvas were integrated in the sunroof frame. Additionally the deflector canvas uses two screws on both ends to hold it in place. Part number: 54107198616. The official BMW instruction manual tells you to open the sunroof and drive over 5 km/h or 3 ml/h than stop the car and keep the engine running. That way the wind deflector is fully expanded and all the way up, makes installation easier. BMW part numbers required for replacement of the wind deflector for the X5 F15: 54107387030 - wind deflector 54107387023 - bearing for wind deflector (both sides and replacement clips are included) 54107198616 - screw (you need 2 of these) Hope this is of use for any future reference.

F15 is pn 54-10-7-387-030. I need to do mine, just broke this morning. Did you end up doing yours?
@@EliGaffke I did mine but couldn’t put the 2 screws on at the end, there’s no space but it doesnt seem to be needed cause the clips hold it in place
Oh so it's quite different then the E70. Screws are always needed
