Thanks for the review. Offers good insight on the packed snow performance. Now if I can only find a place that has it in stock!

Awesome clip Mark! Will get a Powsurfboard eventually. Have been looking at them for quite a while.

They are a lot of fun in the right conditions. And it is like surfing in that you have to wait for the right conditions, so you get that same excitement and disappointment of following the weather forecast and hoping it holds!

Sweet review, your perspective is spot on and very informative, liked the info regarding packed snow. Was thinking of getting one since it is reasonably priced but your insight cemented my goal of surfskating the whole winter & ditch snowboarding this season. Still like snowboarding, it's hella fun but surfskating just feels more surfy. Enjoy the pow.

It is a ton of fun in the right conditions, but it is January 3rd and I haven't had a chance to use it once yet this year. We don't have enough snow for powsurfing, yet we have just enough snow to ruin surfskating outdoors!

@@MarktheLandlockedSurfer Same here, I work at a small hill in the 905 and we had 3 runs open today. I'm sort of doing the Ripcurl Search for any concrete or pavement that's dry and salt free that I can skate before going to the hill.

Backseat driver is super cool and super fun, only few issues that i have is it is a bit complicated when you need to wax a base with hot wax and pins are kinda cool but find out eva foam works best, pins are falling off sometimes

Was in Burton Store 2021 and pins were falling off on the display model.

You can get tundra grip from gripall global. That’s what I use on my pow surfers and Pow Snowskates

Thanks for review. 6" minimum powder depth for the Backseat. Minimum needed for the ThrowBack?

I think you could get out and have fun with 4” of snow with the throwback but it is still going to be a little sketchy
