    Pro tip, you can wax the back 1/3 and leave the nose unwaxed so that you can pull the nose up to go faster and let the nose down to increase the drag and slow down when going straight, you also want to adjust your rope so that you can achieve this as well as tug the front end around to help you turn if need be. I just got one this season and been tearing it up lol

      Sounds like you're riding it as hard as anyone can! I just like having the whole board waxed and fast, but that is a good tip

    That looks so awesome bro I'm in Wisconsin and a couple weeks ago we got almost a foot of snow in some places so I had my board in the truck bed just looking for little pow hits on my way home from work for that week, one of these throwback snurfers would have been much better than my rock board tho

      Oh for sure, this is definitely the board to drive around town with searching for the little pow runs

    Is it rideable without the rope in hand or does your nose sink right away? Thanks for posting its hard to find footage of people riding actual pow on one of these!

      I tend to use the rope more to help the board turn rather than pulling up hard to make it float, and I actually really like it. It can float without the rope but it gets in your way if you're not holding it. On the last run in this video I wasn't even really using the rope, I was just holding it lose in my hand

    Where do you live that you have so much snow?

    If you don’t mind…What kind of boots you use?

    • @SearchofSnowboarding
      @SearchofSnowboarding  ปีที่แล้ว

      In this video I was using LL Bean Boots, but I've since upgraded to regular Vans Snow boots. I've got a pair of Wolle Nyvelyt pow surf specific boots but they stopped making them last year

    Oh, this is good. I may have to investigate this secret spot. It is a much better place than the golf course. Do not worry...I will not tell a soul about it.

    • @SearchofSnowboarding
      @SearchofSnowboarding  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Luckily I don't think there are too many people who pow surf anyway to spoil the spot
