Just bought the same 50 series for my 2019 Tundra 5.7 engine. 2 pipes in 1 out, just like factory layout. By far the cheapest way to get a nice (legal 95db) sound from the tundra.
Balance it by replacing air intake with the K&N air filter direct replacement. So you will have more air. It will not trigger your check engine light. You will feel the difference at higher speed. Some questions asked about check engine light after installing flow master, it should not come on because it after bank 1 sensor 3. Nice tundra👍👌
@@jameshoward8491 I do not recall there being anything outstanding. Tundra is pretty quiet with windows up, down -there is just a low growl. My current ‘20 has a Borla, wouldn’t get it again. Barely anything soundwise, id definitely choose the flowmaster again, not loud or repetitive a good combo of civility and performance tone when wanted.
Hey, just found your channel and have been really enjoying the content you cover as I can relate some of it to my 2019 Tundra. I’d really like to purchase this exact exhaust for my truck but Amazon is telling me it is not compatible with my rig.. not sure why it would be since your video shows it can be done 🤷🏽♂️ thanks.
What id like to know is what HP and Torque gains you would get with the TRD cold air intake and the Flowmaster. I tow and could always use a little more of both.
@@mpg0211 I just did the super 10 dual in dual out. Sounds decent. So loud in the mornings with cold start - shakes the house. Might switch to the dual in dual out 40 series.
Yes . And also some exhaust systems are restrictive to air flow- changing to free flowing can improve mpg. Also oem is usually heavy, so there can be a weight savings. -ppl
Yea and pay $1400 for a black painted exhaust thats not even a full cat back, which was only $8-900 a year ago. No thanks. Over-rated. You can get Trd exhaust cheaper.
Man, I wish I could weld like that! I put the TRD Pro dual exhaust on my '18 and like it but I think I want something a little more aggressive. Just worried about drone.
I just purchased a 2018 Tundra 5.7 and i am looking into getting a Flowmaster but “Afraid” of the drone. Any updates on sound? You still happy with it?
Jimmie G sound can be tricky. It certainly is more fun to drive, it sounds better and “feels” more powerful. No dyno run, so can’t say for sure. I was surprised the stock muffler was as light as it was though.
That is a magnetized Nite Ize Steelie Ball mount for a phone. Clips on the vent....and there is also a 3M mounted one available to stick somewhere on your dash. The clip one allows you to move to another vehicle easy. Thanks
Did this to my tundra couple months ago, extremely satisfied
Great Video, I was going to get the Flowmaster 18” for my 21’ Tundra but now leaning towards the Flowmaster you installed 🍻 .
terrific pick for the Tundra...no drone at all. And YES you did hit the tow haul to keep the REVS up.!!

Sounds great !!!
Nice 👍
Coming from
puerto rico

Put one on my 4Runner and have people turning heads all the time. Might be more aggressive then you think.
Yup. Sounds like a yota.
What do you like better the 18” magnaflow or the 50 flowmaster ? Which one has less drone at hwy speeds around that 2000 rpm mark
Id choose the Flowmaster
@@JLeeChron how is the drone at the 1700 to 2000 rpm range

As always awesome video
Sounds great, not over the top, just enough
im going with the Thrush welded - 40 series knockoff dual in dual out in 2 days. hopefully not too loud at 5:30 am with my 4.6 when i leave for work 😆
5:30? Dang I wish.. try 2:30 with true dual cat back straight pipes. 🤦♂️
Did they have to disconnect your battery before they welded it? Are you still liking it or is it annoying after a while?
No disconnect for exhaust welding.
Prefer the Flowmaster to the Borla I have on the current Tundra
Anybody tried Flowmaster 524703 on Tundra or Sequoia 5.7? If we compare it with Super 50, what would be the difference in sound?
I was thinking about this one for my 2014 4.6
I have the same truck. Have u made any mods on the exaust?

You ppl do this just for the sound?
Yes .

What you SHOULD have done is put on the Dirty Deeds Industries BA Muffler 8" or better yet the 6".

Yeah i bought the hype amd got the Deeds system on my Tundra and was so disappointed. To me it sounded like Sh!t
haha bro the lightning!
Nice! How much was installation costs?
Like $50
Knowing people helps, but most shops should be under $100
@@JLeeChron thank you!
Thank for your video, these upgrade make the check engine???
JOSE ARREOLA not at all. You should have no CEL by changing your exhaust
Can you bolt on or do you have to weld it?
Weld on. Usually its going to give you more longevity…

did the check engine light came up? after replacing the Exhaust?
Dalke Romero no, no lights at all
Its the tow/haul light.....it is out of overdrive!
Hi from what company did you get your flow master, thanks for the video.
Ruben Franko don’t recall specifically, I want to say autoanything or search for the part number
flowmaster 8524553
J Lee Chronicles thank you very much tho. For the info.
J Lee Chronicles so that means yours is stainless?
Ruben Franko it was that version, (ss) but still painted black from what I recall

I prefer the Flowmaster …lower sound better response (impressions) I’d buy again
Any issues with warranty doing this
I like the back to the future ending lol
I’m stuck between these or super 44s
Me too. What did you end up going with and are you happy? Vehicle info too please!
Guys, I have just installed super 44 on Sequoia 5.7 and got terrible drone on about 2000RPM. Definitely need to replace it
👍👍
How's your gas mileage? Still the same?
yep
Any torque gains or loss???

Nice job getting to 88 mph
Try adding cold air intake 🫡
Just bought one of these and they are no longer made in the USA. Mine says Made in China😬. Hopefully it lasts.
What is that in your ac vent

Exactly what I kept finding myself glancing at from time to time.
6:45....
Should we try a Borla Pro XS next time around?
Any issues with warranty doing this
Will G not at all. If the muffler cracks or something , I would take it up with Flowmaster.
