This is PERFECT for a solo or a couple traveling..... I hope this or something similar comes to the USA. No slides, smaller size, easy to park. Toyota reliability in a go-anywhere platform.

This is the closest thing to camping on a mobile, all-contained level as far as I'm concerned. The interior feels like a cozy little fort - a tent if you will, all within the space of a normal parking stall.
Manual transmission, heck yes & right hand driving, glorious!

In High School I had a Toyota Chinook mini motorhome. (Can you imagine the parent's reaction when i picked up their daughter(s) for a date?) Tiny 4cyl, 4-speed, and the cab looked half this size! Great for sleeping in ski area parking lots waiting for lifts to open and going to the seaside without reservations.
I love it except for one thing, the steering wheel is on the wrong side!

Correct. The steering wheel should always be on the side toward the center of the road. When it comes to driving on one side of the road or the other, there are, of course, two sides: the right side ... and the wrong side.

42,399.00 with todays exchange with Thai Baht for the conversion model. Non conversion is 14,133.00. Just checked the rate at 11:43am pst 1/30. They won't sell in the U.S. due to emission standards. Still that's almost 1/3 the price of one here in the states, similar features.

I'm supposed to pay higher prices and fret about global warming while the rest of the world gets cheaper vehicles and can run their vehicles on whatever they want without being guilted into paying even more for electric vehicles? Screw that.

It looks like the cab-over bed can be pushed up and the partition beneath it removed allowing for relatively easy movement between cab and body. However, not a good solution for quick get-aways if you’re actually sleeping in the bed.
Toyota are going to really struggle to build enough of these ! ! 👍

I always wished Toyota made a Sienna with a high top. This looks perfect size. Toyota could have made so much selling high top vehicles in America, but they just do not seem to want to do that. Even though the pandemic camper craze is over, I still think there is a big market for a good quality and reasonably priced camper vehicle, especially the smaller size for easy driving and parking. T

This is a great little camper on a legendary chassis and if it has a 3 litre Cummins diesel it would be perfect. It no doubt will be a major investment , however as the saying goes, “ you generally get what you pay for “ . My daily driver is a 1995 Toyota pickup 4X4 3 litre gas here in Canada.

love this i only wish that it was open to the front so I could walk to the back without having to go outside to enter the rear it would have a bit more room if this was possible, also it would be nice if the driver and passenger were able to swivel around as well. ✌

Dang, that is a great layout!! Curious that I see better compact layouts in EU versions of RVs than what comes to the US. We're not all Mcbig sized consumers.

I'm going to miss my family when I move to a country that sells these.
This is a truck camper because the driver and front passenger must walk outside to enter the camper. A motorhome means you have access without going outside. However, it is a nice compact unit.

If they actually make this is going to be like a dream, like an utopia. 10.000 with awd 2 L petrol or 2.4 diesel, with changeable back. I don't know what to say. Would they lie? Cuz that would be disastrous. If it becomes a reality there's gonna be no other suv on the streets. Even small car owners would sell their car. Bye bye everything else. But I'm wondering why? Cuz even their other models will be gone. 9 out of ten cars on the road would be this. No way this is gonna be real. Maybe if they price it at 30.000 but at around 10-15 k? No way.
From previous yt videos the truck portion alone is $10,000.

Exactly, I made a different post about pass through (also smaller TV). However my thoughts were so passenger can get up and use bathroom without stopping.🙋🏼
@@shochikubai8084 there kind of is... I thing it is not fully opened, there is like a sliding window I think that can be opened more, it is big enough for many people in Asia at least, you have to be flexible also...

It would be nice if there is enough opening to allow the passage between the driver’s seat to the living quarters.
Need to get rid of huge dinette and make a better kitchen area. The dinette takes up all the space.

The inside is surprisingly roomy but didn't have much of a kitchen. Small fridge, tiny uwave & sink, no cook top.
