If only they could do a Byrd version of the pm2
Since spyderco has byrd knives for the budget crowd, I'd love to see them make their tenacious line with a little more quality.
Yeah, I Love my knives but don't really want to drop over $150.
always psyched to see more knife videos.
What a cool blitz of knife reviews, a great way to start the day!
Great video! Can't wait to get my hands on that knife
I woke up and saw knife blitz on my subscription feed. And it instantly made me happy.
Awesome knife! Really like the grind on this one.
Definitely picking this knife up! Great video as always!
Great review as always
Just picked up a crow2 and you were right it just rocks. I love it Tanks for the review.
Love it!! I'll be needing this for xmas!
Thanks for the great reviews. spyderco byrd knives are some of my favorite budget folders
I love your knives reviews, thanks
thanks for this video! I've always been interested in the Byrd line
This knife has impressed me. Thanks for the fantastic review
I love that Spyderco offers the four position options on many of their knives. I'm still experimenting with how I prefer a knife to sit, tip up or down, in my pocket so it's really helpful to have options like that. Great review!
I have a Sage 1; love that knife. Looking at this Byrd Raven makes me think I need to look at spending more on a Christmas present for myself.
Thx. i have been waiting for that one.
Awesome video keep up the great work.
this will definitely be my next folder!
Love Byrd knives and this one looks awesome too. your videos are awesome keep them coming brother
Thanks for the review!
Love your videos, great knife reviews. Keep up the great work :)
Love Spyderco knives. Byrd knives were my first pocket knives and what got me into the hobby. Great knife.
I'm going to have to get a Byrd. Thanks for the review.
You are killing me smalls. Guess I'll go add this one to the list. Thanks LBS.
I really like this update-the Raven 2 will probably take the place of the Tenacious in my list of gift knives this holiday season.
very cool. I have always been interested in spyderco knives so I'll have to look into Byrd knives some more
That is a really cool ergonomic design of the knife
Great review Scout! Great name as well.
Recognized that CTS BD1 Steel right away. One of my favorite knives the Spyderco Manix Translucent Blue has it. Really nice sharp edge.
Impressed with the quality of the Byrd line.
I have a few Byrd knives and love them all. great value.
I have a Byrd Cara Cara 2 in my rotation regularly and it's been a great knife. The updated/upgraded Raven and Crow versions seem like worthy additions to anyone's edc rotation.
Holy jeez that opening in the beginning locked up with authority!
Nice review. Enjoy your videos, keep it up.
Thanks for the review
Love the video and the kinfe!
I have a Byrd Meadowlark Rescue in my bunker gear that I use for firefighting applications and I like it very much. The scales are FRN and it's a fully serrated blade, but it has been very good to me when I've needed it. The Byrd Hole actually makes it easier to open with both structure gloves and auto extrication gloves. I bought it when I wanted to buy a Benchmade or a Spyderco Rescue specific knife but didn't have the extra cash for either of those blades. I have since had the money for one of the higher end knives, but since the Meadowlark is preforming so well I haven't done it. Thanks for your review!
Glad to see BD1 on these!
Got mine today. Knew I would like it alright, but was worried it might not have that x-factor that makes you really dig a knife. Wow no need to worry, once you get this baby in hand the cool factor is so much greater than pictures or video convey. Ultra smooth action on mine (middle finger flickable) and incredible ergo's. The curves and lines are 'just right' increasing the blade's charm. Feels like a tank, cuts like a scalpel. Like it even more than my Crow 2, didn't think I would.
I really like that blade shape and thickness!
What a great looking blade!
great review!
Wasn't interested in this knife till this video. Thanks for a great review!
May have to pick this up
Love the videos!
Usually not a fan of the Byrd knives but this is one I could see myself carrying
Awesome review
Indeed....good review. Can't go wrong with one of these.
Just ordered it.. Love it
Great review
Seems like a very capable knife. Love the thickness of the blade.
Thankx 4 the blitz
I love the Byrd line up
Great video love the knife
Thanks man, another knife I just had to add to my wish-list. I typically shy away from Spyderco knives for some reason, I just don't like the value equation but this Raven 2 seems like it would be a better deal.
Amazing knife man
looks nice I'll probably pick on up
Definitely my favorite of the four knives in the blitz.
I like the finger groove in the blade on this one.
Because of this video I ordered one . It came in the mail today and it's razor sharp out of the box with no, no blade play what so ever. I think for $45.00 this is going to be a good knife.
I had the original Byrd Raven G10, this looks like a nice upgrade.
I love Spyderco and it looks as if they have really stepped up their Byrd line of things. I have been looking at the Cara Cara 2 but now i might have to get the raven 2
Great Review
love the blitz
Nice to see a bargain priced folder with such good thick steel. I'll take one!
One more for my wishlist.
another nice looking knife I love my para 2
Seems like I need to look into Byrd knifes. Also, thanks for this sweet giveaway!
I love the Byrd line. Great value for your money.
I liked the video, Thank You. When I looked up the prices on Amazon I found the prices to be 75 plus 11 shipping. The smaller Bird was 65 plus 10 for shipping. I do like the knifes but at that price I think there are many good knifes to chose from. The video was very good I do enjoy your videos, So thank you.
I really like the leaf shaped blade.
woo hoo! love me some knife reviews man
I need one of those I already brought 4 knifes based on your recommendation
Great vid. Thanks
Did you or anyone else here mention the pivot mod? I guess there was a problem with the pivot spinning. Does anyone have the experience to know how the CTS-BD1 here compares with the similar Ganzo 440C?
Thanks, I want one!
seems like a solid knife. good price too its on my wishlist for now
love the videos can't put your videos down once i start
My favorite Byrd!
i really love vg-10 and this steel seems great as well
+A_KIND_GUY, I love the steel of this blade. I have both the Raven 2 and the Crow 2. The steel takes a wicked edge and holds it well. There are videos out there on s30v vs CTS-BD1 in a cardboard cutting test that showed how well BD1 holds up. I use the Raven 2 and the Crow 2 as my primary medium and small EDC knives. Defiantly check out these knives!
Byrd knives have always been a great value!
Like the Byrd line
i heard some people say bd1 was supposed to be the US version of vg10, but i have also hear otherwise... like bd1 doesnt hold an edge well etc. anyone know better?
Has you sharpening system changes any since you video on it a few years ago?
looks awesome
Cool video! I have a suggestion for your videos. I like how you used to show the specs, price, manufacture country, etc. in the beginning of the videos. Other than that, good work!
will buy one as a beater
looks like I need to pick one of these up. Nice looking knife for the price.
Love the Byrd Line
if you were to choose between buying this or the Tenacious which would you choose and why?
this is just the knife that I need
love the videos
Love that full flat grind.
I would really like to try out BD1 tool steel. I think the Raven 2 is a pretty good value with its size and also materials used.
i love the knife to handle ration of this knife. very sleek
Full flat ground Spyderco (well kinda). What more could you ask for?
favorite knife of the blitz very good looking knife
Good looking blade, but I've been saving up for and have a strong hankerin' for a paramilitary 2.
