Thanks! Glad you liked the video! Yeah, it’s definitely not bad. The setup is pretty easy and fits pretty easily into the case. I’d say setup can be accomplished in about 5 minutes or so.
Keep in mind that I’m a cook, not a photo/videograoher. I have purchased this prompter for use with my channel. I have an issue that I can’t seem to figure out. I have placed my ZVE10 all over the camera “shelf”…meaning as far forward and rearward as possible and I have tilted the prompter screen as far back and forth as possible (and still be useable) and I still get the iPad clamp tips in my view when the camera is not zoomed in at all. Advice? Yes, I can zoom in a bit and get passed them, but should I have to? Thanks for any help! And thanks for a great informative video!
Hey, sorry to hear you’ve been having such an issue. It depends, I think, a lot on the focal range of your lens. If you’re using a 16-28 mm or something like that that is very wide. That may be one of the problems. Another possible problem is perhaps the camera shelf is sitting too far back on the track. If you move the entire thing forward and secure it in a different hole, that may help you as well.
An off camera producer could, of course. Since it’s remote controlled, whoever has the controller can control the speed and scrolling as well as the text size.
@@jackofmanytrades I was looking for a teleprompter solution, but now I am waiting for my local retailer to have the prompter. I would like a HDMI in, but the integration looks very nice. Worth a try for that price 😀
Ah, I see I see. Yeah. If the promoter had an HDMI in, that would be pretty cool. But the nice thing about this (and similar models) is that you leverage a device you already own for the display.
@@jackofmanytrades I already have an Android tablet, but that is in use to control my audio mixer (behringer X18) and godox app 😁 was looking at a HDMI display at the time. The total solution would have been more expensive, so very curious how this 300€ prompter holds up in my use case (talking head shots of different people, so daily height adjustment etc)
@annebokma4637 ah I see I see. Yeah, something like this could absolutely work for that. The base is very stable. Particularly if you’re on a good tripod like the one I showed in the video. If you have one-step height adjustment ability, that really speeds up your flow for changing height between shoots. 🤠
It really depends on where you position your camera on the track. I have been able to use 24 ish if I have the camera as far forward as it can be. I don’t know if you can go any wider since I don’t have anything wider.
This is something that I really should consider buying. Good video
Glad you liked the video. It’s definitely something that can be helpful for keeping in the flow of making videos and speeding up video making.
Concise and informative. Thank you!
Anytime! Glad you found the video helpful!
Nice review. We've been looking for a prompter solution to take on location shoots. This doesn't look too bad to break down and set up again.

so the included script scrolling software is for talent self-control only. Can a off-camera producer control scroll?
An off camera producer could, of course. Since it’s remote controlled, whoever has the controller can control the speed and scrolling as well as the text size.
@@jackofmanytrades My apologies I was not clear. Can producer view text and read along with talent?
Oh that’s a good question, I’m going to say no unless you airplay the iPad display to another display while you’re using it.
It was overlooked, until the elgato prompter reviews started 😂
Haha yeah, elgato is definitely a pretty big name in this kind of space.

what's the minimum focal length this neewer x12 teleprompter support before showing any side borders?

@@jackofmanytrades i have the sigma 16mm lens (24mm full frame equivalent) will it work?
@rahulrg2150 should work. It’s a 24 mm equivalent, I don’t think it’d cause issues.
