I’m a dentist, I’ve recommended this video for patients with overdeveloped platysma, sleep issues and TMJD . Also do it for myself regularly. Gotten great feedback , thank you!

Been working on my TMJ for like a year now, yoga has been one of the best relievers along w meditation, about to try this video for the first time

@@joshuamendoza4842 that’s awesome. Posture and training is incredibly important to facilitating comfortable nose-breathing. If you’re a nighttime clencher/grinder, 96% of the time it’s because you’re trying to force nasal breathing subconsciously (your body knows it’s good for you). This video is great for the morning as we do discouraging things to our posture during the day. In the evening I’d recommend Oropharyngeal stretches. They’re intended for correcting posture for snoring/apnea. What we don’t discuss is prior to the apnea kicking in, we try to circumvent the issue by either clenching or mouth breathing. Like I said, it’s subconscious so results depend on posture and god given anatomy…some of which you can not correct. For those who continue to struggle, I recommend seeing a pulmonologist if it’s posture related, or an ENT if it’s anatomy. There are occasions you’ll need an OMFS if it’s truly non-correctable TMJD. I can discuss this issue forever because I find the TMJD/Apnea/snoring connection fascinating. Let me know if you need a video for oropharyngeal stretches, they’re awesome and often overlooked

@@bpc1003 please do recommend, I have taken the posture correcting route because due to sleeping on couch and honestly just lazy posture through the day my neck back and hips got all out of aligned, I’ve gained substantial improvement in both my breathing and mobility, and just getting injured less often, but I love finding out new ways to try and also to recommend to anyone I know who might suffer from similar problems

@@joshuamendoza4842 it’s challenging to correct it. When I think about maximizing posture as it relates to this video, I think of how Michael Jordan stuck his tongue out and opened his mouth when making an athletic move. It’s one of those things that’ll make sense after you try it

I just discovered your channel about a week ago and these are some of the best yoga routines I’ve done. I’m going through your catalogue and it’s a great substitute for in-person classes. The things that really make your channel excel beyond others is that you include things like this and breath-work and are good about describing the minute intricacies of certain movements.

I have been looking for a way to help a sore lower back and a stiff neck, after changing from a busy job with lots of movement to a job sitting down at a desk , it makes sense why things feel as though they are seizing up, i also found the video with the information about how to sit extreemly beneficial, it is very true that sitting is as much of a health issue as smoking, hence the modern term sitting is the new smoking. I have mentioned the videos to lots of people as they are very easy to follow the explanations on how to do each yoga pose is detailed which is great. Thankyou both

I discovered your posts back with Yoga for men during the pandemic. It was huge help then and changed the course of my life. I took some time off from practicing but the principals of mindfulness and breath work carried into my other pursuits in and out of the gym. Now at 53 I practice a mixed routine of disciplines including Yoga and I am in the best shape of my life, minus older joints ;-) Thank you for setting me on this path! The video is admittedly a bit hard to follow at first, with all the intricate roundings of back and very precise head movements and rotations. However, once you get it and do with good firm, you almost immediately notice a difference in the upper back and shoulders by the end of the video. I plan to do everyday for a few weeks and see if it improves my chronic neck issues, mainly caused years of bad posture and tension I carry in my traps and shoulders. Will report back.
Another terrific Breathe and Flow video with great and detailed instruction. I often recommend this channel to friends getting into yoga. Keep'em coming guys!

Since I discovered this, I do this exercise every day. Often at the start of a full Vinyasa Flow or I mix and match with a couple of other short yoga sessions. I love this as it allows me to tailor the sessions to my need rather than following a long session. Having a more structured "Yoga Menue" with starters, main and dessert may be a nice idea :). Keep going, as I always look for new uploads to combine with the tried and tested.
