yui arashi Yes. There is no such thing as “zero feedback”. A receiver’s silence can be interpreted by the speaker as a reply or feedback. Depending on the context, it is the speaker’s challenge to decipher what that silence means. Therefore it is important to “read” the listener’s non-verbal cues.
