I’m going to maximize my time inside the ballpark on Thursday. The giveaway is cool but I rather cherish my last moments for an A’s game inside the Coliseum.
In an interview with Casey Pratt and the Mayor, she admitted the City fell $350M short of the infrastructure money needed to make anything built on Howard Terminal possible. Her "plan" to get this money was Tax Increment Financing, which is PUBLIC MONEY. You think the people of Oakland would approve that? Now you know why the deal failed. The City could not make Howard Terminal workable while the Port and Labor Unions had objections. What you refer to is the agreement between the City and the A's. Two different things... There are only 2 reasons why the A's aren't playing in Oakland the next 3 years. 1) fan hatred and boycotting. 2) The City asking for a ridiculous amount of money and conditions for the lease extensions, including things outside the control of the A's. Its like they held up a sign pointing to Sacramento. BTW: What NBC did to Brodie is despicable and short sided.
City and the A's could never get on the same page!!! City couldn't cover the off site infrastructure money they said they would. City council pass a term sheet that the A's didn't agree too. Oakland inability to put public money in the deal hurt them too
Public money is the only way any ballpark would have been built in Oakland. Once u guys said no. Game over. Oakland was never ever getting a private funded ballpark.
@@jasontapia1032Brodie is a shill. He thought trolling John Fisher was gonna get him to play nice with Oakland. Oakland can get sports back but it's gonna take a more conservative and business minded city council
@@sirchi8731 that will never get a mlb team in Oakland!!! Mlb wants the city to put public money in any stadium deal or renovations just like In Milwaukee and now arizona

Once they leave Oakland they dont deserve us as fans anymore after they went out of their WAY to drag us thru the mud & separate themselves each and every chance they got! They laid Brodie off for God's sake!! I pray that MLB makes this right and grants us an expansion team so we can rise from the ashes and kick John Fisher's teams asses wherever they end up 💯 With that said IF Vegas falls apart and Mr. Lacob is able to make it happen and bring them back we'll be ready to fight for our squad!

Thank you so much for the words you had for Brodie. I dont’ think I will be watching that channel much longer.
Yeah it's really tough what they're doing, doesn't make sense. This whole thing is hard to watch

Great video man! Really sad what this ownership group has been aloud to do and continue to do.
Thanks I appreciate it

Alex you are a class act!!! thanks
Thanks!
Going tonight, Sunday will be my last. This is gonna be hard for me.
Changed my mind, I want to go one or two more times.
Except they'll be back in April.
A’s leaving, no longer rooting for them. Next Year, Go Ballers and Giants!
Giants voted for the A’s to leave. Forget MLB
