- Brutal Orchestra is a Turn-Based Roguelike Strategy Game. You died, someone killed you. You are now in Purgatory and you will never escape. Make a deal with the "demon" Bosch and set off into this bastardous world finding all manner of demented friends and foes on your quest to get petty revenge.

on the off chance you're going to make this into a series: health color=pigment color, red portal means enemy, blue portal means npc, purple portal means boss, if there are multiple of the same enemy, look at their moves to know who does what, don't forget to check enemies and party members's status section to see if they have any special effects and you can rearrange your party members at the party section before any fight to start at a more favorable position.

Brutal orchestra has been my fav roguelike for awhile now, IM SO GLAD YOURE COVERING IT!
There’s also some mods that are being made, suggest trying them in the far future

the game's plot just being "eh why the hell not" is absolutely hilarious
It's a lot more than that really. You gotta finish it to see it all
as an advice: pay attention to timeline and enemies passives which you can view by clicking on them
for example this yellow guy had a transfusion passive which on death turns other enemies healthbars into yellow

Slippery makes the user move left or right every turn.
Transfusion makes an adjacent ally into the user’s hp color when the user dies.
Infantile, unsure, co-ability with Parental that makes the user switch places with a user of Parental. (And vice versa?)
Skittish makes the user move left or right every time it moves.
Overexert, maybe something related to having the user gain more turns.
Apparently, at least on the boss, Overexert makes the enemy lose an action if they get hit by X (being the number besides overexert) in a single attack. So for 'roids, if you hit him 3 times with 2+ damage attacks in a turn, he will lose 3 actions.

Oh you are going to love Brutal Orchestra! The game takes a little bit to get into but once you get to Hardmode it clicks HARD.

I don't know if it's just me, but some of the stuff in this game gives we huge LISA: the painful vibes, from the attack animations, to the people in the roids boss battle, which looks like the lovelies from the fangame Lisa: the hopeful

For some party members, hurting yourself on purpose is actually part of their core mechanics. It sounds fucked up, but it'll make sense once more is unlocked.

The timeline shows you the next attack the enemy will use, so during that boss fight you could've done a better job moving your characters around based off of knowing whether the boss would left jab or right jab
