My new one will not turn on. :( I push the "on" button, and it doesn't do anything. It is plugged in, (symbol on the right is lit up), but not responding to the touch-screen power button.
Hi, Meg! Try unplugging the printer for ten minutes and then plug it back in again. If the issue persists, can you let us know if there is anything on the printer's LCD? Are there any messages or is the screen blank as well?
Thank you for responding! I unplugged and plugged back in ten minutes later as suggested, and it still will not turn on. The screen is blank. The only lit-up part is (what I assume to be) the "plugged in" symbol.
Thanks for the updated information, Meg! Make sure all of the orange protective packaging tape and materials have been removed from the printer. Check out step #2 on the following link for all the areas to check: Canon.us/emp9. If all of the orange materials are removed, please reach out to our support team for further troubleshooting at Canon.us/ContactYT and they'll be happy to help!
Can you please show how to HARD RESET to factory settings please?
