Also in case you didn't know, since drake got brash and I never thought he'd referemce it but he's trying to be more gritty, at the start of the song he referenced "detail" getting beat down by by his right hand guy "chubbs", detail is a writer/producer that used to work with drake, then something happened that made drake feel disrespected (not wanting to sign to them exclusively as a producer?), then he got lured and beat up to the hospital by chubbs and he started ratting to the news and drake never mentioned a thing until now

@AJK He's only 'carrying' drill because of how famous he is. He has so many followers that will cling onto his tunes, he doesn't care. It looks like he's stealing our style here. People keep arguing that UK Drill came from Chicago, that's calm. It did. But we made it into our own style, completely different, he stole Headie's flow here bro. Don't be surprised if the UK Drill style becomes big in America. It's only because he used it.
He 'shows' love but does he 'mean' love? Trust me, we've made a lot of dead tunes in the last year that have diluted (thinned-out) drill but we still created it, we are still carrying ourselves. Zone 2 have deffo helped revitalize drill but it's slowly wearing out man. As I said, don't be surprised if our Drill style becomes popular over there.
(Trust me tho, I do agree. He hopped on the Fire in the Booth and did a lot for our scene. But was it for the right reasons? you get me?).

His voice/style just doesn't translate too well with Drill, but he's also still Drake and he can rap, so it works in its own way. Man you should maybe consider giving two ratings, one for the vocalist and one for the producer, since you are a producer and can hear that side of things. Or maybe even three including the rating for the whole track. A lot of these reaction vids I can tell you’re feeling the producer but not the vocalist. Or maybe even do a series on best producers, Top 5 Best producers, Top 5 Fave drill beats you like etc., Best Bass slides, etc. I feel you can work such an angle very strongly in 2020, and it would elevate the education for the entire scene musically as well.
That would really do well to share your experience and insights from a production standpoint. Just some thoughts, being a musician myself. Happy New Year and all that, thanks again for putting these together as always. Blessings man
