Hey Jess, so I never usually comment or anything but I’m also a first time mom and my son did the same thing the other day, so I know how you feel. One of the scariest moments of my life. It sounded like he was just choking on spit but he was choking so bad he couldn’t breath. I ended up having to suck some of the spit of of his mouth with the bulb. I called the doctor after and she said to do saline drops in the nose if you think it could be from allergies maybe? I’m not sure but just thought I’d throw that out there, it really helped my son. But you’re doing a great job momma! ❤️
You handled that beautifully and didn't panic. If this was all filmed on the same day when you were in the bathroom and she was crawling behind you, she seemed to have had something in her mouth. Babies can keep something in their mouths for a long time before attempting to swallow. I remember when eldest child was in a front face car seat and she had a doll in its whole cardboard package. I didn't realise she had been sucking on the cardboard and made it so wet with her silva that she starting chocking on the cardboard that broke away from the packages and ended up in her mouth. I pulled over and didn't have time to get out of the car so threw myself over the centre console and stuck my fingers in her mouth to dislodge the cardboard from her throat. It was terrifying and not something I would ever want another parent to ever go through but not panicking and just doing is the best thing. Have your breakdowns later like you did.

There are choking devices that are good to hold onto if there is food or an object stuck in the throat. It’s also 100% effective so I would recommend anyone with children to have one.

The Starbucks thing was very funny. People have Starbucks credit cards so whenever they use them, it gives them stars. I had no idea either, it's crazy how much people have!
If she ever choking on water or mucus anything like that. Lifting up a babies left arm stops the choking mechanism. Now if there is a blockage of of course this doesn't work. But it's helped multiple times with my babies.

I highly recommend getting cpr certified/ they also have first aid for pediatrics. It’s very helpful because you can practice !!!
