I'm a diehard Sony h.ear fan, but these Skullcandy Venues are seriously impressive for the price. Also, big thanks to Skullcandy for helping me to foul my pants at the 25-second spot...
I've never been impressed with Sony's audio department. I've owned Sony speakers and headphones in the past. Both were disappointing. Sound was dull and lifeless, maybe it sounded true to life but it's not for me.
Congrats on 10k subscribers brother!! I’m sure I’m late...but last I saw was 9k. They’ll come flooding in for sure, and it’s great to see Tech Spurt take off to the top. 🥇
That box advert scared me too...and I totally felt your surprise too, lol. Looks like a great pair of headphones. Am I tempted, yes...am I happy with my wireless Bose noise canceling headphones, also yes. 😋 Great review brother!!
I've had the Venue for almostb a month now and can happily report that they're a good set of cans for the price. The noise cancellation isn't the best (it blocks out atmospheric low noise, train and plane rumble and so on - but not voices), but good enough for a commuter/traveler. The sound is quite impressive: while not the "airiest" of headphones they have good, natural presence, good depth of field and a nice vocal presence as well.
Can someone help me? My venues paired with my iPhone 6s Plus through Bluetooth has no sound and the microphone doesn’t work. My 3rd pair of venues and same thing every time. (Nothing against skull candy, I’ve had hesh 3s and crusher but prefer venues. Just the Bluetooth microphone and Bluetooth sound is nothing.) Thanks.
Pretty sure this is the first review of the Venue, been looking for one as there doesn't seem to be much coverage at all (on TH-cam at least). How's the sound bleed compared to Bose and Sony? Can you hear what's being played from the outside? Also, seems like noise canceling is pretty decent, and isolation (without anc) is mediocre, but how do they compare to Sony and Bose?
I'm sorry but I'm really really confused between this and sony WH-CH700N but I'm more interested about sound quality and not to leak as possible... so can you please help me make my mind?
Absolute waste of money. I have two broken pairs + 1 pair returned due to malfunction out of the box. They did not last more than 6 moths before the cheap plastic broke on a side. Then, out of the blue, the headset stopped powering up as well. Now they are both pretty dead. With the money I already spent on the whole thing I could have gotten something much better. It seemed a sweet deal at the beginning giving that the sound quality is good if you can make abstraction of the noise in the left year but the headaches that come with them are not worth the bother.
Hi all. I had bought these headphones last November. So far I am very disappointed with the quality of the sound and noise cancelling feature. They suck and after a few months of daily use broke down. They now stop working randomly and I would have to drain the battery before I can reset them and start using them again. The sound is bad as well... distorted sound when on full blast and the bass is virtually non existent.. Noise canceling also sucks.. Basically they boost the sound instead of cancel them.... I would not recommend.

Great work testing the sounds against the ANC

How is it still holding up? I'm planning to get one and I'm kinda worried about its durability.

Nope!! That one goes to Gamesky...
Bluetooth 4.0 or 5.0 is used in the headphone ?
Can you turn off the ANC apart from the monitoring mode?
How's the build quality of these?
What if you leave them in a coffee shop or something? Will tile show that they are there?
are they good for gaming?
Any way I can get higher volume without using active noise canceling?
I love Skullcandy
I just got these refurbished on eBay for 43 bucks!!! 😳
Nice
@@hix9306 Still working flawlessly 4 months later! I use them for hours daily!!!
Does it come with the case
Yes of course
Will this headphone work with ps4 through Bluetooth?
I don't believe so. You're gonna have to use the wire and plug into the controller to your headphones.
I just got my pair in the mail. Like the sound and noise cancelation. Not sure about the top memory foam though. Feels a little rough on my dome.
gayle sayers on skull candy or beats

Yeah, all this testers who gets staff for free are scared of say bad and be excluded from testing.
Don’t get these headphones if you are planning to use a aux cable every now and then cause if you do they won’t turn on anymore
