I found you On Foureyes, but when I learned you used to have your own channel I quite quickly binged most of your videos. While both you and Chris work great together I am kinda glad you are parting ways. Each of you has different style of narrating and approach and now we get basically double the content. Best of luck growing the channel, can't wait for the next video.
Je suis entièrement d'accord avec ça : je regrettais déjà de te voir quitter ta chaine et ton atelier pour aller travailler CHEZ un autre ... même si c'était Chris .
Stoked to have found you years ago. Stoked you and Chris partnered. Stoked your doing your own channel again. You both have inspired and taught me so much. Thank you.
Full plum is the bomb! I am often full tan, grey or green. It’s much like crocs or white new balance shoes.. confidence is key. So glad you’re back on your channel! Best of luck to both you and Chris!
Didn’t realize how much I missed the SBMT opening music. Happy to resubscribe to the channel. I hope this works out for you and your family. Oh and I like that you’re whistling the Addam’s Family theme.
SO glad to see you back! Always considered your channel to be the best for both entertainment and design. No disrespect to Chris, but love to see your personality coming through fully.
SBMT was (is) my favorite TH-camr…best content, instructional and best attempt at humor. So good. Glad you’re back. Oh, “plumology” bit was too funny. Question: Did you intentionally come up with that or accidentally? Either way, super goofy…which is awesomeness at its best.
Glad to see you back, whether here or with Chris, as I commented on his video, if anything, this just leads to more content for us to see, which is a great thing. Now get that merch restocked on your website!
Hey Shaun it’s great to see you posting back on your channel. I have always liked your style of presenting on this channel. Looking forward to seeing more. Best of luck to you with what ever way life takes you.
You and Chris have worked really well together, rubbing off on each other a little bit in the process, but I have to say, I enjoy your solo videos, as I did before you joined up with Foureyes.
I like the change of you two having your own seperate channels. Hope you will still collaborate on many projects such as this one. I enjoyed there being two video's because you both have a similar but different style of making video's I like. Love your designs. The plum outfit looks fresh btw
I am so friggin jazzed that you are posting on this SBMT channel again. I’m genuinely excited to continue to follow your journey. Congratulations on your new endeavors and new beginnings.
Dude, so glad you're back! Don't get me wrong, I definitely enjoy the Foureyes stuff you guys do, but I was watching your stuff when I first started woodworking and I didn't realize how much I missed this channel. I'm pumped.
Just could not belive, that there is a new video on this channel. I watched both channels before you guys sticked your awesome work together. Wish you all the best for your future, hoping for some crosscountryprojects soon. Greetings from germany
Just recently found both your channel and Foureyes. I love your rapport and creative collaboration, but I’m stoked to see that you’ll be back doing your own thing. More content, but still having that rapport from time to time? Win-win! Cake and Edith, too! Keep it up, man!
I go to school for Industrial Design with a buddy of mine. He always rolled up to our intro shop class in THE BEST fits. The plum on plum looks straight out of his wardrobe. Perfect amount of plum.
Glad to see you back! Looking forward to what you do next. I got back into woodworking again a few years ago and you and Chris have been huge inspirations for me.
Great to have you back Shaun, you are more talented and creative than you think you are. I for one missed your style as an individual and I sincerely hope you make a financial success of the channel. Prior to you signing on with Foureyes you were my favorite woodworking creator by a country mile. Good luck my friend from the UK. Maybe you can answer a question I've always wanted to ask, why the Union Jack on your old workshop wall?
Really appreciate all of that! I’m hoping for the same. My dad is from Northern Ireland, so I have a lot of family in the UK and have spent a lot of time there over the years.
Your part of the desk looks great, Shaun. It's kind of sad to see that you may have to leave but it's good that we will still get to see your videos. I am subscribed to your channel (as well as Foureyes) and I never unsubscribed yours when you joined Foureyes. Also, the plums need to match better (lol). Bill
Shaun! I don't know why I got so emotional watching this but man the old music hit me hard. Hope all the best for you and your family and obviously Chris and his channel but man the lay at the end was missed 💕
Sad to hear you're "breaking up" with Chris. Loved the chemistry between the two of you. I really loved your videos on the Four Eyes channel, don't think this will be any different here. Good luck to (both of) you!
When I first started watching on Foureyes, I think I started with the video that Chris introduced the fact that you were officially joining the channel so obviously went back and watched the back catalogue from both of you. I even wound up with a mug and a t-shirt at one point (lost in a fire) so as much as it is bittersweet to be moving to two channels again I believe that it is overall a great move and I am glad to two channels to rep and have twice the video to watch again! I built my version of your Chessboard 3 years ago, and plan on making another as soon as I have access to the tools to do so (again, fire) so I'll call that my celebration of this channel being active again. Cheers, thanks for the woodworking and rhymes!
i have nothing to say in a negative way about EITHER of you but I do appreciate your humor (humour, for those English/Canadian folks) more so I am going to continue to follow you assiduously without missing a single one - of either channel...
Dude…I am so happy you’re back on your own channel! Not that I’m happy you and Chris split, for lack of a better term, but more so that I’ll get double the content. It’s also pretty odd…over the month or so I’ve been recovering from a bad bout with Covid, and I have watched a bunch of your old videos.
My wife and I love your work and your video style. We are excited to see you back on your own channel and look forward to some bad rhyming outros. Good luck with the move!
Right now, I'm watching both video at the same time, here, I'm watching Shaun's video and, on another tab, I'm watching Foureyes's video. Technically is not at the same time, because it's impossible, but I watch 2 minutes of one, then 2 minutes of the other. I never had tried this, it's a whole new experience, try it people.
Double-sided tape is indeed a game changer. I'd be handicapped without it. So useful for templates and other stuff. Your work is great thanks for sharing!
you cannot imagine how surprised and happy I was when I saw you popping up on my feed. I never got into the foureyes thingie, it didn't have the vibe your videos use to have and this did not disappoint even tho I miss your old workshop (I bet your don't, it was so much smaller :) ). Take care man. (plum combo is plum and so good to see you lay down on the table again :) ).
I'm such a fan of both you and Chris. I've learned so much from yall and I dream about designing and building like you. This desk is ridiculously cool.
I was getting worried you two had fallen out. SO glad we get to see more vids from you two. I thought to scrimp meant you struggle to get a set amount of money together and to skimp means to save money
Skimp has the connotation of missing something important (usually because you couldn't include it due to price,) whereas scrimp implies a struggle to accumulate the funds for something. The two often go hand in hand but they do have distinct meanings. You can skimp out on a key feature because you couldn't scrimp together enough cash at the time.

Je suis entièrement d'accord avec ça : je regrettais déjà de te voir quitter ta chaine et ton atelier pour aller travailler CHEZ un autre ... même si c'était Chris .
I actually have the opposite story! I think you were a great addition to Foureyes, Shaun, but I did miss your personal videos.
You’re so much better to listen to than your partner
Just subbed for the same reason.
Glad to see you back. Personally always preferred your original channel to the joint videos.
Really appreciate it! More to come!
Make that two of us!
Stoked to have found you years ago. Stoked you and Chris partnered. Stoked your doing your own channel again. You both have inspired and taught me so much. Thank you.
Happy to hear that! Thanks for following along.
Who needs Chris? He was holding you back! J/K, love you both, good luck on your own channel, you'll crush it.
Full plum is the bomb! I am often full tan, grey or green. It’s much like crocs or white new balance shoes.. confidence is key. So glad you’re back on your channel! Best of luck to both you and Chris!
im a blown man myself
Agreed, just have to own it! Thanks for sticking around.
I thought I was dreaming when I saw your notification.... glad your back on your channel. Miss the ol' Shaun Boyd style
Glad to be back and thanks for sticking around!
Awesome you are back on your own channel. Four eyes is great but I missed your narrations.
Happy to hear that! Thanks for watching, and more to come!
That kick flip comment really hit home. Glad you're back on this channel!
Didn’t realize how much I missed the SBMT opening music. Happy to resubscribe to the channel. I hope this works out for you and your family. Oh and I like that you’re whistling the Addam’s Family theme.
Great to see you back on your own channel! Best of luck with this phase of it!
Thank you! I'm glad to be back!
Satisfying build... Extremely unsatisfying lack of personal drama between you and Chris. Welcome back ;)
Haha! TH-cam loves drama, missed opportunity. Thanks, man!
SO glad to see you back! Always considered your channel to be the best for both entertainment and design. No disrespect to Chris, but love to see your personality coming through fully.
Amen!
also, so glad you’re back with your own channel.
Welcome back, dude!
Thanks, man! Glad to be back.
Isn’t this great?!
I'm surprised how happy it made me to see you lie down on your completed work on this channel again. Nice to have you back
Glad to be back!
Glad to see you posting on your channel again! I’ve been watching you since back in your garage days all those years ago. How far you’ve come!
Thanks for sticking around!
I am so glad that you laid on top of the desk.. I have missed that.
I had to.
Glad to see you back and on your channel. I have always enjoyed your creative and original designs and how easy you explain the process!
Awesome to hear that, thanks for sticking around!
Wearing full plum was not intentional, but when I did, I knew I had to feature it in a video. Thanks for watching!
Good to have you back! Just means more Shaun goodness for everyone.
Glad to be back!
Well said!
F**k yes!! I've never been this hyped when I heard that someone is going to re-use their channel! keep the videos coming!!
Really appreciate it! Thanks for sticking around, and more to come!
Glad to see you back, whether here or with Chris, as I commented on his video, if anything, this just leads to more content for us to see, which is a great thing. Now get that merch restocked on your website!
That is what we are going for! Thanks for watching!
Shaun, I chuckled all the way through this. I love your work but equally your sense of humour.
Hey Shaun it’s great to see you posting back on your channel. I have always liked your style of presenting on this channel. Looking forward to seeing more. Best of luck to you with what ever way life takes you.
Glad to be back! More to come!

The plum outfit looks fresh btw
Full plum makes me want to go and play classic Clue and now you're Professor Plum !!!
I like both channels. Both of you have the same approach. Love the attention to detail.
Definitely the right amount of plum. You need a plum shop towel hanging out of your back pocket. Then you would be super cool plum guy.
I am so friggin jazzed that you are posting on this SBMT channel again. I’m genuinely excited to continue to follow your journey. Congratulations on your new endeavors and new beginnings.
Really appreciate it! Thanks for following along!
hell yeah, boyd's back
Dude, so glad you're back! Don't get me wrong, I definitely enjoy the Foureyes stuff you guys do, but I was watching your stuff when I first started woodworking and I didn't realize how much I missed this channel. I'm pumped.
Exactly some story with me. I remember sliding into his dm.
I grew passion for woodworking while watching him
Really glad to hear all of that! It’s good to be back.
Welcome back, sir. I’m a Shaun fan and a Chris fan and a Shaun/Chris fan, and mostly a Chris/Shaun fan. This will be good.
Just could not belive, that there is a new video on this channel. I watched both channels before you guys sticked your awesome work together. Wish you all the best for your future, hoping for some crosscountryprojects soon. Greetings from germany
Thanks for sticking around! More to come!
free hand drilling the draw front pilot holes gave me chills.
thanks for the video.
Just recently found both your channel and Foureyes. I love your rapport and creative collaboration, but I’m stoked to see that you’ll be back doing your own thing. More content, but still having that rapport from time to time? Win-win! Cake and Edith, too! Keep it up, man!
Thank you! That is exactly what we are going for, still collaborating, and now more content.
I go to school for Industrial Design with a buddy of mine. He always rolled up to our intro shop class in THE BEST fits. The plum on plum looks straight out of his wardrobe. Perfect amount of plum.
He sounds like a good dude! Can't go wrong with full plum.
Glad to see this channel going again! I love your guys videos. Very educational and the quality is top notch
Awesome work brother. Love you and Chris on Forureyes and you'll be missed on that channel but i got you here.
Thank you! There will still be plenty of cross-over, so you'll see us around both channels.
Glad to have you back. You make good content buddy.
Thanks for sticking around!
The plum outfit is on another level
What an incredible piece of furniture!!
killer work shaun! pumped to see this channel back in action dude! looking forward to some puns :)
Thanks, man! I'm happy to be back.
Glad to see you back! Looking forward to what you do next. I got back into woodworking again a few years ago and you and Chris have been huge inspirations for me.

You guys did an amazing job! That’s a bad ass desk!
We are still here!
Welcome again to your channel 😊
Your part of the desk looks great, Shaun. It's kind of sad to see that you may have to leave but it's good that we will still get to see your videos. I am subscribed to your channel (as well as Foureyes) and I never unsubscribed yours when you joined Foureyes. Also, the plums need to match better (lol).
Bill
Thanks for sticking around! More to come!
I had forgotten just how humorous your narratives are, so nice to find you posting videos again.
Shaun! I don't know why I got so emotional watching this but man the old music hit me hard. Hope all the best for you and your family and obviously Chris and his channel but man the lay at the end was missed 💕
Really appreciate that! Happy to be back, and happy to hear people feel the same!
Full Plum... All Day. Welcome back! I was wondering why you weren't appearing on FourEyes as much. I'm glad it's all good news!
Yooooo….my man! So good to the SBMT channel back up. I’ve missed seeing you laying down on a job [well done].
Welcome back Shaun! I wondered where you went. Your videos just stopped....and I was sad. But now you are back....and now I'm glad.
Sad to glad is the right direction!
God I’ve missed this! Glad you’re back!
Happy to be back! Thanks for watching!
Bro! Stoked to see you’re posting on your own channel again!
Right on! Thanks for sticking around!
I was genuinely worried when I didn’t see you on for ice for a while! Glad you’re back
Glad to be back!
Found you on FourEyes and while I will miss the way both of you played off each other I’m happy to have another channel to watch.
Good luck
Sad to hear you're "breaking up" with Chris. Loved the chemistry between the two of you.
I really loved your videos on the Four Eyes channel, don't think this will be any different here. Good luck to (both of) you!
Welcome back Shaun….. great to have two channels again.
Good to see you back and doing a solo album.
Glad to be back! Hopefully I can make a few hits.
Glad I never unsubscribed because Shaun makes a great video!
Shaun. May many sponsors come your way. They should.
From one Boyd to another, it is great to see you back where you belong.
Appreciate it, brother Boyd!
When I first started watching on Foureyes, I think I started with the video that Chris introduced the fact that you were officially joining the channel so obviously went back and watched the back catalogue from both of you. That's awesome, thanks for following along with all the different versions!
Nice to see you're back! Your plum really adds to the Great Happiness Cloud. 😜

Haha, you might be on to something! Thanks for testing it out for us.
Double-sided tape is indeed a game changer. I'd be handicapped without it. So useful for templates and other stuff.
Your work is great thanks for sharing!
Glad your back! Foreyes was never my jam but always loved your channel
Shaun - Happy to see you back here 🙂
Thank you! Glad to be back.

Really appreciate that! Who knows, I might end up back in a garage.
Good luck with whatever you decide for your channel.
24:50 Oh man. Good vibes.
Plum it up homeboy, just like that! You rock it, Shaun.
Thanks for the reply
Congrats you've won contact me right away I have something for you

As a mathematician I had to slam that like button for the geometry shout out! Love it actually! Thanks for a great video!
I always try to give math a shoutout. Glad I paid attention in geometry class!
just the right amount of plum, Shaun
Like seeing your work on whatever channel it’s posted. And that outfit is plum crazy
I definitely was sad when you went to Foureyes, I loved your style of videos a lot more. I hope you go back to that style at least a little bit.
I'm such a fan of both you and Chris. I've learned so much from yall and I dream about designing and building like you. This desk is ridiculously cool.
I’m happy. Welcome back, Shaun!
Hey!!! Welcome back. I liked your dynamic with Chris, but I missed style of your solo videos, too. You rock.
So glad you're back!
Love the concept of two videos with varying perspectives on the two channels
Great to see you back...my favourite woodworker...and my fav woodworker videos!!! Welcome home...
The sense of humor you two have is just incredible and your videos are unmatched by just about any other woodworker on here
The plum is good but I’m here for the drawers. Very best wishes resurrecting the channel and on your future endeavours :)
Thank you!
This is a sweet desk! I love the lines of the Shaun half and how it hold its own while not competing with the Chris half. Well done gentlemen.
Wether on FourEyes or here, happy to see you’re back in the spotlight!!
dude, love the plum look! Just the right amount of Plum. for sure!
I’m here my dudeski! Totally agree on the 2 sided tape.
chris is great, but i always preferred your style of videos. Glad to see you back!
full plum is definitely the move. plum on!
Love to see you back on your channel! And you remembered to include a 'terrible' rhyme! Welcome Home!! We missed you! Now go and have more fun!
Glad to be back!
Glad to see you're back, your curved plywood curved desk is still to me one of favourite woodworking projects!
Back to laying on furniture. Love it.
