    Very nice recipe. Comes out well. I added jaggery to the stuffing as family prefers sweet- bitter taste. Made tomato gravy. Tasted superb!

    Bitterguard seeds are never recommended to eat. Avoid as much as possible. It's very heat and causes stomach pain.

      That's my favourite part. It contains no toxins, since the very little amount gets destroyed after the cooking process. They are instead a great source of phytonutrients and fibre. Recommend eating them.

    Your removing skin and seeds of Karela then marinating the Karela with salt to remove bitterness then why do you add seeds & skin after frying in masala,inside stuffing of Karela it will make Karela stuffing taste bitter.

    What is wrong with you guys talking about the seeds...every single part of the bitter gourd can be consumed. It’s bitter properties are essential for an all rounded digestive health. If she would’ve thrown it, someone would point it as being wasted. Now that she incorporated you, you have a problem. Geez...go make your own.
