God I absolutely love that Godzilla. It really takes what one might complain about on an ordinary Godzilla figure and just completely flips it on its head by making it flow so well into such a niche situational figure and it truly is perfection. The only Super7 figure I even bothered to get because it’s just so incredible. Let’s just hope it doesn’t take too long to come. I preordered the pop Mothra from the same Australian website I ordered this from and it took quite a while to come after it released, so let’s hope that’s not a recurring trend! What is a recurring trend tho is the amazing reviews, bro man

Yeah Destoroyah really impressed me right out the box, was surprised it ended up being so good, especially since I didn’t like wave 1. Good stuff Super7!

Update: I got him. He came in the mail 3 days ago, and I love it. It's probably my favorite Super 7 so far. Well worth it for any looking for an articulated Destoroyah figure.
This wave looks SO good!! The ONLY complaint I have is that I wish they bulked Destoroyah a tiny bit more. Just cause I feel like he looked so menacing in the movie not only cause of his design, but because of how large and big he was compared to Godzilla. Also, are you thinking about getting the SpaceGodzilla once it comes out??
Not sure about SpaceGodzilla, if it doesn’t come out around the same time as MinusGoji, or during a heavy month, may just indulge on both! All about timing!
YO ROB!!!! Happy Holidays!!! Sorry for the lateness but will will say this: this is easily Super7 best line. First and obviously foremost, 1200 degree godzilla looks absolutely amazing yet very sad (especially after the passing of the late Kenpachiro Satsuma) as you can see how much pain Godzilla's feeling during his last seconds of life before giving his last energy to his fallen son. The detail is amazing, the paint is amazing, the fact nearly the whole body is translucent, it's simply amazing. Destoroyah, oh boy, he is simply a *BEAST* As the perfect lifeform, Destoroyah looks fantastic with the details and the paint is pretty nice. The biggest plus is the articulation, boy Destoroyah just dominates with that articulation it's insane!!! The size is fantastic while your mileage may vary with proportions, it does scales nicely with burning and for the price, it's a great pick up. Great review and hope you have a happy holidays and a happy new year!!!! Metroid away!!!!

Im mainly an sh monsterarts and Xplus guy, but these two are incredible looking! Don’t think we’ve ever gotten a melting Godzilla before, so at this kinda detail I thinks it’s a must buy. People complain about these figs not having enough articulation? Just how much is really needed and especially when they end up looking this damn good?Fantastic review man, just subbed!
Great review! I'm actually impressed with these two, the last releases were quite the letdown but seeing changes and improvements being made is a very nice surprise.

So they'll give the extra skeletal head on Meltdown Godzilla a jaw hinge, but instead of giving any of the other figures hinged jaws, they give us open and closed mouth swappable heads?
Because a skull's jaw opening and closing doesn't break the illusion of the sculpt as much with its joints compared to how you need to do an opening mouth on a fleshy head.

Cool to see he and destoroyah improve on things a bit, I'll have to save up for him too.
The timing of this figure and kenpachiro satsuma’s death (Kenpachiro was the suit actor of the heisei godzilla) Is tragic, But also seems like it’s made to honor him.
Godzilla looks a lot better than I expected it to. Probably gonna end up picking him up. I think the move going forward is seeing how super 7 stuff looks before getting them. I'll never forget the pain of seeing what wave one looked like in person for the first time after having spent nearly $200 on it. Destoroyah looks like a great figure, I just cant see myself picking it up because the mouth paint honestly sells for me.

Godzilla is definitely me when I was told that the salsa verde was "not too spicy" (it was.) With how good these look, then the -1.0 Goji is going to be amazing. Need more Minus Goji.
So the limited Bandai titanosaurus that came back on Godzilla store us I missed out on it 2 months ago but I bought it when I came back I got my package today but the titanosaurus was not even in it. it was goji 75 which is weird cuz he was not even listed on the site. Edit: but anyway I hope y’all had a great Christmas this year Edit 2: so I reached out to Godzilla store and they said I can keep the Godzilla 75 and they will be sending the titanosaurus
These look great! Especially looking forward to Space Godzilla and Moguera now. Although with that being said, I think there's something stylistic about the Godzilla Ultimates where the Showa era designs would probably have come out better than the Heisei designs have so far. Like, the Super 7 style could really work for them. That and an articulated MegaroGoji at this size would be amazing.

Meltdown Godzilla looks good and is a sign that the glossy paint CAN work in the right circumstances (though, I don't think the right leg looks particularly good), and Destoroyah is the exact situation where that glossy paint DOES work. Now if only the detailing looked better. From a distance, it looks good. But not so great up close.
Here's the thing, as some1 who owns the SCV Destoroyah... I actually honestly prefer this over the MonsterArts. This has all the joints I need for a Destoroyah figure, minus a jaw hinge joint but unfortunately, that's Super7 for ya & I don't even mind the fact that he's not as bulky. I kinda like that better! I'm not a fan the wings are separately jointed on the MonsterArts & some of the plates of the wings have fallen off on mine, which is frustrating & it's just not a necessity to me on a Destoroyah figure so yea, definitely would take this over MonsterArts. 0verall, I find the Super7 Godzilla line a bit underwhelming but I will definitely be picking this up when I can.

They did that here with the alt skull head, and while I wouldn’t mind more of that… I think the only reason they did this is just because it’s a skull and the hinged jaw didn’t make things look off. If that’s their reasoning for not doing hinged jaws on other releases.
Skipped detroyah, but I preordered meltygoji last year on bbts, still waiting for his arrival, but I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to have one of, if not the most iconic godzilla moment on display.
I would have bought most of the super7 figures (including destoroyah) but why do BARELY any of them have a hint at the jaw? It’s not that hard? It’s for the same reason I didn’t get the neca Rodan it’s just annoying to continously swap out the heads
Unfortunately, no. Since the ball joint is much smaller on MeltGoji it wouldn’t fit on the usually massive ball joint the standard Ultimate Godzillas have.
So my only option to get these are big bad toy stoy decent price i say for how beautiful cant wait for the space Godzilla but they killed it i will probably buy destruyah for Christmas and eventually the burning goji for maybe a future stop motion i havnt made a account but i think it would help my crazy stuff for Godzilla
Destoroyah having so many gaps is really a minor issue, given the armor plate design of the kaiju, there are already plenty of other gaps, so the new ones aren't such a big deal

They did that here with the alt skull head, and while I wouldn’t mind more of that… I think the only reason they did this is just because it’s a skull and the hinged jaw didn’t make things look off. If that’s their reasoning for not doing hinged jaws on other releases.
Skipped detroyah, but I preordered meltygoji last year on bbts, still waiting for his arrival, but I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to have one of, if not the most iconic godzilla moment on display.

I would have bought most of the super7 figures (including destoroyah) but why do BARELY any of them have a hint at the jaw? It’s not that hard? It’s for the same reason I didn’t get the neca Rodan it’s just annoying to continously swap out the heads

Unfortunately, no.
Since the ball joint is much smaller on MeltGoji it wouldn’t fit on the usually massive ball joint the standard Ultimate Godzillas have.

So my only option to get these are big bad toy stoy decent price i say for how beautiful cant wait for the space Godzilla but they killed it i will probably buy destruyah for Christmas and eventually the burning goji for maybe a future stop motion i havnt made a account but i think it would help my crazy stuff for Godzilla
Destoroyah having so many gaps is really a minor issue, given the armor plate design of the kaiju, there are already plenty of other gaps, so the new ones aren't such a big deal
