They offer free boards to use. I wouldn’t buy it first. You can go there for a quick beginner session and see if you’re into it. Learning in the ocean is a better feel!
Hi Skipper Surf! Quick question... I notice that on that day the waves looked sloppy and almost "onshore" in quality BUT when I watched other videos of this place, it was super clean. Would you have any ideas why? Were the waves rolling in too consistently thus making the water too turmoil? I am dying to know! Thanks in advance!
Hey!! It depends on the wave setting! This session they ran mostly playgrounds wave which generates waves more often and there are 4 take off spots. That’s probably why it wasn’t so clean. A frame wave (Gotham/classic) tends to have cleaner conditions because they come every 15-20 seconds. So it has more time for the water to settle down. Hope this helps!
@@SkipperSurfReview well that sounds cool which level is that? Thank you for getting back to me so fast! Love your channel I watch your reviews n vids all the time. If your looking for someone to go with me and my friend are looking to go with someone. We’re intermediate + not great but would love to go
@@SkipperSurfReview intermediate plus I can do cutbacks roundhouses and I try airs but can’t really do them but for the money I want a wave I can do a few pumps on then set up a cutback
I agree.. but that’s the best you can get out here when it’s flat and cold! When you get so desperate that’s the only place to get you stoked. Can’t take these waves seriously as they can’t be compared to the ocean waves however it’s still awesome to get some reps in🤙🏼
Looks like fun😎
I am thinking about buying a surfboard. Think its a good idea to go here and see if I actually like surfing?

I’m not sure which wave to choose cause I want to practice turns and it does look like the wave is that good
Nope.. This is one of the hardest sessions. I would only do A frame wave session.

La vorrei in Sardegna! 💙
I think you set off the fire alarm
looks good but really expensive !
They run promos sometimes.. and some sessions like 1 hr for $99😁
Do they have one with more of a face?
Yes, it’s called Wall Street but it’s between 2-4 ft in the face max.

@@SkipperSurfReview hey did you get a chance to look at this reply?
Hey I’m looking to go to the wave pool but this video is expert right?
Yes it is. I have another video for intermediate session featuring A frame waves. What’s your surfing level?

waves look really short and poor in quality for the money tbh.... but man I'd still go if I'm reeeaaallly surf hungry I guess.. 🤙

Yea I've watched your videos and went there and tried the experts waves ,and to be honest it was a waste of time ,knee high waves and no power .
Did they run playgrounds? This pool is not an ocean so you go mostly for experience and enjoy warm water surfing 😜
That looks awful
Worst wave pool I have seen so far!
I'd never spend 250$ on that, not even 50$
Well, when it's brutally cold outside and flat for a while, it may be worth it :)
