Absolutely. You would have to stop your rotation just short of the image to prevent smudging. 3 colors would be a little challenging depending on the design but quite doable.
I like it. Looks like it could fit any cylindrical object within a certain size. Very cool. Yeah a belt dryer for glasses would speed things up a lot. Come get some Catspit~!

FEN CHIANG I had the same problem with Maribu. I did a lot of testing and INKCUPS came out on top. If you bake the glass to cure it, it's pretty strong. I have some glasses I put through the dishwasher 100 times and it still holds up. You could scratch it off with a knife if you wanted to but if you don't, it will last. If you went to a bar or someplace that has printed glassware, you will find most of their products will scratch off ( I try it everywhere I go) INKCUPS sells to Discount Mugs, if that helps. If you buy the CG Series, use the reducer and the primer.
FEN CHIANG 230 mesh works good. Wipe the primer on the surface with a damp lint free towel and let it air dry for a few minutes. Use 1000-HGL hardner. 20:1 S-3 Retarder. 5-10% PP ink primer

@@berardiracing92 I had a DTG back then. However, DTG's and F's are inkjet printers and you have to print everyday, and the heads go out quite often. They only last about 5 years. Not worth it. I'd rather have a well built machine.

I used the PP series primer but I think that may be for plastic. Contact them directly and they will help you with what you need as their products may have changed. I use CG series ink with 1000 HGL hardener. I have some glasses that I use every day and go through the dish washer, for 8 years now and still perfect.
CG series ink from INKCUPS. I tried all types of ink and found this to be the most durable. I have a set of glasses that I use daily and wash in the dishwasher for over 5 years and still perfect.
You can do multi color as long as you have a reference point to start with. I use a line on the glass as a reference point so the image is centered in between the lines. Do the same for the next color. The ink starts to set up in minutes so I would do a print over before the underbase cures.
Rebecca Miller Thanks for your interest. The "Primer" goes on like any type of cleaner. Use a saturated rag and wipe the glass. The supplier calls it primer but I don't think it's anything special. The ink can still be scratched off if you try. Next we are going to try Pyrosil, which is a flame treatment. Will post another video when we do. Anyone with any suggestions would be appreciated.

Yes, After much trial an error i have found they have the best, most durable products. If you need any help, let me know what you're printing on and i can steer you in the right direction. Inkcups has a good description of what inks to use on what substrates.

Ink is from INKCUPS.COM. Check their lineup. They have inks for all substrates. The one i use for glass is the CG series and clean the glass with primer first

You have to be a fabricator and welder to make this. If you were, you wouldn't have to ask how to make your own. You can buy one from Vevor or Amazon for far cheaper than having one made. Keep in mind, there is a learning curve. It's not as easy as it looks... at least not until to get the hang of it. Good luck!
To build one yourself you would have to be a fabricator and a welder. However I have seen people make these out of wood. The easiest way is to shop on Amazon or Ebay. I have had many requests to sell these or the design. Unfortunately I don't have any designs. I just made this off the top of my head. I'm sure they are much cheaper than I could build them and sell them.
You don't actually have to use any heat at all. You can air dry over a few days so any type of heat would be beneficial. The steady heat of an oven just makes the ink more durable. Don't use your household oven if you decide to bake.
P.a.C Yes. With the proper ink you can print on anything. For styrofoam you would need a water based printing ink. You would have to resurch that yourself. Thanks for watching.

To be honest, I'm not really sure. It was recommended by the supplier for best results. I also clean the glass with 96% IPA before I wipe with primer. the results are excellent so I don't mess with success. Thanks for your interest.

U r the best sir. But what about the mesh it is 120 or 200?
I used 300 mesh for this job but you can go as low 220.
The ink is very thin so you don't want to use a low mesh count.

I can't compete with Chinese manufacturers. You can get one fairly cheap from Vevor or even Amazon.

There's no special prep before baking the ink. The ink will also air dry but it will take a day or so depending on the conditions.
