That was pretty neat to see! Thanks for sharing this process. I have a fraction to decimal sign I got from April Wilkerson but it doesn't have the metric conversion on it which I sure would appreciate having.
Thank you, thank you! I know you sometimes remove old videos or ones you've updated and remade, but I've learned something from every one of them. It's great to have them available here for reference instead of either disappearing or messing up metrics on the main channel. This can be the gentle and pleasant retirement home for old videos 🤭
What distance do you think would work for a 23x31 screen? Rough time using the same set up for everything else? Just want a ballpark from your experience.
That’s a lot of work. I received a ton of screen printing ink and was checking out how to use it but I don’t think it’s for me lol I have 2 cricut machines, so much easier. Tell me please, what do you find about this screen printing process that makes it stand out from using vinyl from a machine. Maybe I’m missing something.
Wonder if this would be the same procedure for screening onto a thin, 5 x 8 inch metal plate.....? Or is there another consideration. The plate will also be painted prior to screening... Thanks
I backed the Xtool laser screen printing system - hopefully it speeds up this process. This process needs to be modernised - it takes so long to prep your screens.
Back in the day it used to take the full day to the screens under vacume this is improved I could improve some things he dose in this vid starting with how they all use there sqweeges to print theve all just learnt off each other and not worked in a propper sweat shop doing thousands of meters 8 colour aday by hand
I don't know anything about this process, so this is a legit question: If you're making a poster, why not make it digitally and take it to the print shop? What's the advantage of screen printing?
Foolish comment…thanks for taking the time to walk through your process. Any ideas on distance for a 23x31 screen? Using water based inks and a single 50watt UV light?
It's good to see how the man do it with minimum material, it mentally help beginners believe in themselves and get started
Good looks ! Me and my homie were able to get our first quality burn/washout because of your video ! Thank you so much !
Thanks it is not something I would do but I do appreciate the work it takes to do silk screen well.
Great step-through on the process. Much appreciated!
this was rad dave! cool to see the process clearly.

Can I cover the screen with the photo sensitive emulsion multiple times to have different graphics or is it for single use only?
RE-UPLOAD. Took this off the main channel for housekeeping reasons.

Re-watched! Still good stuff!
Still good the second time...
I don’t remember this one coming out. I remember you saying you had some screen printing videos planned but I thought you just abandoned the idea.
I watched and looked for where to buy. Now I remember this being from a while ago.
I wish I would have bought one the first time.

Best video ever, thank you, I now know what I need to do 👍

Thanks
I do this for a living. I don't have a dark room... as long as you move quickly the light is not a problem
Excellent video, but wow that’s a lot of work! Thanks for a detailed overview of the process.

Ah, re-upload … and there I was thinking you’d gone back to wearing only red!

This is about doing it the old way. Getting your hands dirty and learning the process.
Got it, handsome Mr. P'Chuto! Rock on!

It’s nice but that’s a lot of work. Kudos to anyone that takes the time to learn and become proficient at the process
Just starting, my second time when I wash off the screen after lamp the entire screen washes out. 😲
👍🏾
Just like the first time I watched this, I wonder why don't you have good audio and even lighting in your bathroom?
2019 - 31 of 50 😉
Disappointing. Art?
what's disappointing?
