In June of 2021 I had a biopsy done on my leg because they thought I might have a cancerous tumor. The days leading up to it were not fun and extremely stressful for me and my family. They didn’t let me run or bike weeks before the biopsy as to not mess up the results. When we went in to the Doctor to hear the results after the biopsy, they found that what they thought was a tumor wasn’t a tumor at all! My bones were just healing in a very unusual way. Relief washed over my family and I and we went home truly happy! It was over 100 degrees that day but when I got home the first thing I wanted to do was bike. I put my headphones in and biked to an empty parking lot in the blazing heat. I played this song. Biking faster and faster along with the song I almost got tears of joy in my eyes. Truly one of the most cathartic moments in my life. So thank you for this wonderful song 🙏

I unexpectedly lost my best friend two weeks ago after spending one last beautiful weekend with them, going to two concerts of our favorite artists with our friend group. It's been incredibly difficult without them here. I've lost people I'm close to before, but there were usually circumstances that prepared me for those losses i.e. my grandpa was in his 80's, could no longer speak, and had been bedridden for over a year before he passed in 2014. One of my beloved aunties had been fighting cancer for the better part of three years when she passed at the end of 2020. My friend was 27 years old. Nothing could have prepared me for what happened. I understand that all I can do now is be thankful for all the time I was allowed to have with them, because I know it's more than some other people get. The hardest part has been sleeping at night, because they were a proud night owl, just like me. They were the only one who'd be awake for deep conversations from midnight to dawn, even on weekdays, while everyone else sleeps. It's 5:28 AM, and this song found me on TikTok, and I can't help but feel like this might be the place for me to share my grief. Sol, I miss you so much. I hope we get to see each other again.

this song feels like accepting you fell into a hole, but finally accepting that makes you able to see what’s wrong and you’re finally figuring out who are you and what you need in order to be able to stand up for yourself. Accepting you’re not okay isn’t bad, it’s a good thing that’ll lead you to do better and grow up in a good way. Not everything in this life is about being positive all the time, it’s about dealing with those emotions and accepting them and use the as a way to help yourself to learn and grow.

found this song in a roblox game, and loved it ever since. sadly the creators became problematic so that game is no longer, but this song brings me back all the memories i had in that game. it reminds me of the friends i made. i love this song for that reason and the fact it helps me calm down whenever i need it

Whenever I listen to this I feel like a new person, it's a beautiful sadness, I kind of reminisce over memories that are so wild that I'm not even sure it happened, almost like my neverland. I say I'm sure most don't exist and didn't happen, but through more thinking I feel like it just didn't happen for me. I experienced someone elses dreams. I unexpectedly lost my best friend two weeks ago after spending one last beautiful weekend with them, going to two concerts of our favorite artists with our friend group. It's been incredibly difficult without them here. I've lost people I'm close to before, but there were usually circumstances that prepared me for those losses i.e. my grandpa was in his 80's, could no longer speak, and had been bedridden for over a year before he passed in 2014. One of my beloved aunties had been fighting cancer for the better part of three years when she passed at the end of 2020.
My friend was 27 years old. Nothing could have prepared me for what happened. I understand that all I can do now is be thankful for all the time I was allowed to have with them, because I know it's more than some other people get. The hardest part has been sleeping at night, because they were a proud night owl, just like me. They were the only one who'd be awake for deep conversations from midnight to dawn, even on weekdays, while everyone else sleeps. It's 5:28 AM, and this song found me on TikTok, and I can't help but feel like this might be the place for me to share my grief. Sol, I miss you so much. I hope we get to see each other again.
