She’s a good vocalist her range is f2-bb6 (4 octaves and 3 notes) can belt up to 21 seconds, she’s doing riffs now, her vocal coach said she has more WAY more range and ability that she shows us that it can be surprising when she stands up in her lessons and “executes Mariah Carey songs perfectly” ❤
Taylor Swift was recently in a Directors on Directors video from Variety talking with Martin McDonagh (a playwright and director) about her directing process. If you liked the all too well behind the scenes, you may like that as well. She really does it all. Also, she wants to direct a feature film, which would be so iconic of her.

So Taylor never really had the country accent, she was born and raised in Pennsylvania until she convinced her parents to move to Nashville to start her music career. She always loved country music and wanted to be a country artist so she moved and put in the accent to make that dream happen. Then, along the way, she started breaking into pop and eventually started using her actual accent. Girlie sounded AMAZING though with that country twang!
Edit: isn't it so hard picking a favorite album? She was talking about how Reputation was the best, then when she was picking top 3 albums Reputation was nowhere to be seen 😂 they're literally all the best, your fave is valid because every album is flawless! In Taylor's defense on the accent, she moved to the south while she was a teen when going to school hearing that southern twang spoken on a daily basis, it is easy to pick up an accent. I am originally from Wisconsin/Minnesota and have now lived in the south since 1991, when I talk to people from up there, they think I sound southern.
She has a performance of the song eyes open with a high note that is so perfect that vocal coaches thing she is lip syncing but she is 100 percent live
I swear I thought you’d done Lover already. I’m having a Mandela Effect moment right now. It legit is one of her best albums, and since you love Pop Taylor…this is gonna be so good.
She is an icon and is one of the very few artists who can write and perform!
And play several instruments.

Fearless is my nostalgia album, I'm so excited for you to hear it. I have all these memories of my 20 year old self during the fearless era. Yeah I have the problem with ranking her albums cause I love them all so much! She's so good live, I'm so excited for the eras tour! "Lover era best Era" fun fact: although I have a hard time rating her albums, I do know that Lover is in fact very high up on the hypothetical list
I always find it so interesting that the accent thing always gets brought up with Taylor. A lot of people don't realize that there are a lot of country stars that are not from the south. Merele Hagard is in the Nashville songwriting hall of fame and he is from California. Some not even from America at all lol. Shania Twain is Canadian, Keith Urban is from New Zealand. And the accent is kind of a feature of country music, so I am sure she thought she had to do it in order to make it in Tennessee. Though it is funny to look back on and hear now.

I was coming to say that. The clip of London Boy is from her BBC Live Lounge performance, I think she did 5 songs, all acoustic, including a tender, slowed-down version of Holy Ground. Phenomenal.

She doesn’t ever have a “New York” accident. When ur from the south, it’s easy to play up the “twang” or downplay it. Plus, I’m sure voice lessons has helped in this area.
