Never seen that before! It looks a bit extreme removing a door skin 😮 £25 was a lot cheaper than I was expecting too.

Thanks for watching. There shouldn't be a need to clean a turbo unless there's something wrong with it? In which case it's usually replaced.
Avoid moving the door once the panel is loose because it will be creased before you even notice it is trapped!! When you take the door card off, check that none of the plastic poppers are still attached to the door. Take them off and fit them to the card.

Great video - many thanks. My problem is that the outside door handle will not work whilst the inside one will and if I move the window up and down I hear a scraping noise as if the glass is making contact within something. Would a new regulator solve this?
Sounds like you have a problem with your handle/lock than the window. You can use this guide to take the door skin off and have a look.
I recently had to replace the passenger side front window on my mk5 golf, I took the door skin off and replaced it that way.
Putting it back together turned out tricky for me, there's a rubber band that joins two raised and lipped points on the handle inner and the inner door latch mechanism, i didn't reattach it back to where it goes. Doh.
Now that door won't open from the outside or inside, the latch mechanism itself has bounced off it's connection inside the plastic casing, I've researched it since.
It did open for a few go's after I misreassembled everything, but now I have to get at taking off the B pillar sides torx screws that fit the skin to the door, then drill out the plastic latch mechanisms housing to expose the actual latch to open the door, from there... well, do everything I should have in the first place!! 😑
