- Marvel Rivals could may as well be Overwatch 3
It leaves a good initial impression and seems promising, but the same thing happened with Overwatch, so I will not give this game any second chances.

3:00 i wouldnt say theyre as restricted as you'd think. Luna snow is a character made by the same guy who made marvel rivals and she debuted in a game he was also making 7 years ago. its a somewhat risky play for them but they definitely can release original characters. not to mention due to the nature of how marvel is they can do a completely unique interpretation of a hero who already exists.

But if that is the case, as long as the character is cool, they can release whoever they want
Although it is still much easier to add already existing characters and just switch the design/lore a bit

The only change i think jeff's ult could use is lowering the range a little to:
1. Actually match the visual (it pulls people outside the zone in)
2. Lower the vertical pull range (i should not be affected by the ult if im literally flying above it)

I agree that keeping it casual and fun is way more important than competitive play. Competitive play leads to the OW balance problem of trying to balance everything at every skill level which isn't possible without ripping all the identity out of the game (though at least hero bans make it more viable) I agree it definitely needs more maps/modes and performance improvements. Focusing on fun instead of balance is important (of course that means there must be SOME level of balance)

7:02 i disagree with this statement. there are way more dps characters then there are supports and tanks. which means most ppl in games choose dps and it can be a bit frustrating sometimes when the comp is 5 dps and im the only support. i do still really enjoy playing the game tho even when this does happen. i also just love how chaotic the team fights can get sometimes during matches no matter what team comp u got or what role u play.

They already are better as a game just allow to turn off non critical graphics+ offer lower setting and we'r golden.

Playing tanks in OW is a miserable experience, different from MR
Hulk bubbles, Magnito bubbles and groom walls cutting of line of sight all counter Jeff can we please stop saying Jeff's ult is op and has 0 counterplay
He clearly doesn't know that Jeff ult is countered by practically everyone Jeff is a classic noobstomper.
Iron fist can block it.
Terminator entering turret mode also dodges it.
Magik portal dash dodges it.
Starlord dash have I-frames and dodges it as well.
Psylocke Wolverine and Black Panther should never be getting caught by it as long as they have their dashes since they can easily dash out.
Same goes for flyers like Ironman as long as they're flying high enough and if you're still getting caught by the ult you're playing flyers wrong.
Immune CC abilities also dodges it because Jeff ult is counted as CC.
@@nox22119 The people complaining are prob supports or not much movement characters like Hawkeye. And on the off chance one of these abilities to avoid Jeff ult are on cooldown or it happens in the middle of the fight and you don’t notice, it’s literally imposssible to kill Jeff underground

The only answer is to get good that's why I called Jeff the Noobstomper he feast on Noobs but utterly fails against high skilled players.
Supports have counters to Jeff from Loki just switching with his clone that's outside the Jeff's ult Cloak and Dagger have an ability that makes their entire team phase through Jeff ult while Rocket has a dash.
Jeff has counters if the enemy is playing Jeff you can counter him by picking the correct Heroes.
@@nox22119 Mb I meant the supports like Mantis, Luna, and Adam. Also, usually you won’t really switch characters to counter one support ult, so it can be annoying for the people who want to play their characters and still get caught. A back line can be eaten up and without splash damage you’re rarely gonna kill that Jeff. There are counters, but there’s still some characters who can’t dodge it and of course their players will complain; that’s all I’m saying.
@shafin6089 That's the entire point Jeff is supposed to counter those slow and immobile Heroes.
Not counter picking is just purposely nerfing yourself you can't complain that a Hero built to specifically counter you is destroying you or else everyone is just gonna get nerfed to the ground like OW.
This is known as counter picking and is something that exist in MOBA's like LOL and DOTA it is very common and should be played around not ignored then cry about it when you lose.
But what about those casual players that just wanna play their favorite heroes?
You can still play them in a casual environment like quick play just don't cry when you lose because you ignored how to play the game correctly.
Competitive is in a decent spot right now especially when the game is only a month old and I really don't want premature nerfs to start flying around because some newbs failed to understand how a certain Hero is played.

@potathor900 me too I only know her from rival and even Squrrial girl even luna snow , and the shark, and some how rival really did a good job by bringing those most unknown heroes, and proving those heroes can be good

Someone said how Luna is kinda original, so if they can make someone like Luna and Squirrel Girl make people like her design, then they can definitely make lesser known heroes or villains work
The main problem with overwatch is the characters / guns are designed to irritate your opponent or make them do more things than you. Reminds me of that league of legends "designer" who went online and said his favorite characters are ones that drive your opponents crazy. They had the same problem with SC2, which revolves around early game air to ground harass, who the fuck thought that was the fun part of brood war.
Anyway this is a way better rip off of unreal / tf than overwatch

It already is lol, paladins is better than ow for crying out loud, just its engine is crap 😂
But if paladins didnt use spaghetti code, theyd be better simply because they actually make interesting heros desings, overwatch made some decent ones at launch, doomfist and echo and than the other like 90% of their heros are lame, and sombra ruins the few fun unique heros because turns out to make a unique fun hero inna hero shooter, you gotta design a pretty unique kit and often times the hero will rely heavily on their kit because of this which if a hero relies heavily on their kit, theyre gonna be miserable to play with in ow because they added an invis hero who steal your kit and abilities away with auto aim before nuking you... i really noticed this when the devs finally grew a creative bone, and made juno and hazard, and than both are just totally screwed by sombra... so not only do they just not make anything fun.. i mean what the hell is illari? They reskinned ashe as a character, luke it wasnt bad enough they were recoloring skins, now theyre doing whole ass heros? Lmao
Yea... ow is just not fun, its just barely more fun than your average shooter like cod or valorant, marvel rivals is like the final form of a hero shooter 😂
It increases FOMO now more people will buy even if they wouldn't have played the BP in the first place or play at all.
They are selling to those who would otherwise not buy it.

Thx u for mentioning us potato pc users. I was excited to play the game ever since it was announced only for it not to work. The game should have had OW min specs. Has for this game. Can't say. I don't trust Netease. Majority of their games are dead and Naraka which they published is the only one alive. They don't seem to have any good track record.
Rivals was so overhyped. i played it for a bit, and its ok. Im definetly sticking to overwatch "2" for a while even if its not a great game anymore. i have learnt to enjoy overwatch even with its sweaty and mildly toxic playerbase. It has been sad to see the direction overwatrch went but im also glad to see that the new developers are somewhat trying to dig it out of the hole the previous devs had created. I definetly hope that rivals doesent come to the same outcome as overwatch tho.

@potathor900 I also feel like we dont give enough to the people who created the whole overwatch universe and their charecters. Marvel rivals isnt making anything new. its ripping off overwatch with 3rd person view and using their thousands of charecters saved up from other stuff. Rivals is less original

@potathor900 Your Jeff knowledge is outdated Jeff ult can be blocked by Hulk's and Magneto's shield.
Jeff ult is considered cc and getts blocked by CC immunity abilities.
It can be dodged as well by I-frames like Starlord dash and Magik teleport.
It can also be blocked by Iron fist.
Terminator entering turret mode dodges it as well.
Those are just some of the ways to dodge Jeff ult in fact Jeff has fallen off meta and is considered by the high rank players as a noobstomper hero only.
