Great tutorial. I just started learning PLC, and I must say that I am really impressed with how you teach, making it easy to understand. I am interested in PLC programming. Can you please do a video on PLC programming in general? You can also do a video on the star delta setup and programming. Thank you.

      You're very welcome!
first you go through these following videos, I believe, it will change your way of thinking after watching these videos. After that, come back here again, and tell me how you will develop the logic scenario for star and delta configuration in PLC when you have 3 contactors. i will guide you in case you make mistake. Feel free to share experience.

      @@IndustrialControlAcademy Hi,
This is how I think the star delta configuration in a PLC using three contactors should be. Your videos always inspire me. Thank you for sharing the PLC programming link.
      Steps
      Inputs: Start push button (I1)
      Stop push button (I2)
      Outputs: K1 (star contactor)
      K2 (delta contactor)
      K3 (main contactor)
      Timers: T1 (star timer)
      T2 (short delay timer)
When the start PB is pressed, K3 is energized, which powers the motor connecting to the supply. At the same time, K1 is energized, which connects the motor windings in a star contactor. The motor runs for a short period specified by T1. When T1 is complete, K1 de-energizes, and a short delay timer is activated. When T2 expires, K2, which connects the motor winding in a delta configuration, is energized and operates at full speed. When the stop push button is pressed, all contactors de-energize, stopping the motor.
I appreciate your response in advance.

What I couldn't do is to read in a monolinear electrical diagram how the auxiliary contacts, NO or NC in the circuit of a relay are connected, like the one on the right at 13:56! How are they combined with the contacts of the other relays, e.g main power relay, start-stop, timer and star-delta switching.

    • @IndustrialControlAcademy
      @IndustrialControlAcademy  หลายเดือนก่อน +2

its very simple. 1st each auxiliary contact has main component like MCB, MCCB, Magnetic contactor. each NO and NC contact of main component, if being use on same page (any electrical circuit) or on different page, it would have reference page number and the most import thing is to nominate with that component to which is associated. Like O/L-1 is overload main component to protect the the motor to run further. it will stop to pass electricity and also in the control circuit, it will stop other component to de-energize for motor safety. also these contacts move to panel Lamp for local indication and PLC input for information that got got trip on over load.
one more thing, if you are confused on wiring, just take the positive wire and pass through the auxiliary contact of individual component and that it. its very easy. 1st you draw the drawing with your own understanding, once you clear, you will do it practically for small circuit. make sure you remain safe while test. take safety precaution as priority. try this small circuit.

ATS wiring is very simple, either you using 2 contactors with some relays, or ATS controller.
