Brother im from mechanical and working in a switch gear manufacturing company. I was going crazy about not understanding thr electric things. But your videos really helped. Im not Buttering you. But they really made an impact ❤
I am working in Oil & Gas industry and did not have much knowledge about substation equipment's function. Your video are simply awesome in the way that a non-electrical guy can have a pretty good idea about the power system in a plant. I've seen about dozens of your videos and each video and the way you explain is simply brilliant. Thank you for helping those in need of knowledge. Hats off to you!
Fantastic work - I am working in the water and renewables industry and this has given a great concept overview. Would love to see more on the switchgear and control gear interactions especially in MV and LV industrial applications.
Thank you sir, i am already motivated to learn more about switchgear. Basicly, i already learn about RTU, SCADA and Relay Protection due to my job. But right now i am very curious about switchgear, can't wait to learn more from your videos 😂
What I understood from your video is that, a switchgear is a switching device. All other components are needed to protect current and voltage imbalance during switching.
Our grid voltage differ to that applicable in India. We use 330kV as the largest grid, which is stepped down to 132kV and in some areas it further stepped down to 66kV, while most areas the it is stepped down to 33kV,. it is further steeped won to 11kV and 415V respectively
Do upload more on this type switch gear and protection m recently newly working in power house control room and i finf your video healpful and easy to understand
I am interested to know how cable scheduling is done for a 400kv bay along with bay marshalling kiosk, junction boxes. A practical cable schedule will help. Will you make a video on this?
in Somalia our primary transmission is 11kv but very soon we are moving to 33KV, my question is in 11kv primary and secondary transmission we should use MV switchgear right?
In middle eastern countries they use different levels of voltages unlike u showed in this video. Like 380, 230, 115 &13.8 kV I appreciate if you can make video using this voltage levels for EHV & HV SS
