  • Join us as our epic journey into the Star Wars: Imperial Assault continues!!
    Star Wars Imperial Assault: amzn.to/2Ldpbe1
    In this episode of Star Wars: Imperial Assault our team has rolled underneath a blast door as it closes behind us sealing off the Royal Guards behind it. That was close! We need to hold our positions to give the Rebel transports time to get away!
    This is the first campaign (tutorial) within the app to help get a better understanding of the rules for new players and some rule changes along the way for experienced players.
    Don't forget to check out my existing Star Wars: Imperial Assault unboxings as they continue!

    13:44 you could have targeted the other stormtrooper and with the cleave ability you would kill both of them ;) nice playthrough :)

      Great point Matayas! I could have changed my target of attack there and it would have killed them both off. That's something to remember for future attacks. Thanks for watching!

      That’s partly strategy/choice though because he could have only done 1-2 damage with no surge again to the other trooper, in which case then you’d have two troopers left standing. I think I would have risked it too, but the the option/choice he picked almost ensured he’d clear at least one of them. (And his strategy to keep line of sight open for Jyn.) it’s a good example too of why you have to declare who you are attacking before you roll since otherwise you’d choose the best based on what you rolled and there’d be no anxious choice before the roll. 🙂. Great tutorial series though I’m really enjoying learning the game!

    Could Jyn quick draw a second time because she has 2 activation icons in the app?

    • @RollingSolo
      @RollingSolo  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Jerry, I believe she can unless that’s a one per activation ability. Not sure off hand! Thanks for watching! :)

      Love the channel, love actually playing solo, so your channel and name of your channel fits my playstyle. Because of you getting SW:IA. Was hemming and hawing between that and Lord of the Rings Journeys. The app and the game seem smother for solo play

      Thanks so much Jerry! IA and JiME are both great. I love em!

      Yes, app instructions at 14:50. 🙂 But only once during each activation I think? A tiny bit vague based on text because it says, can use twice if you have two activation icons, but thematically it would seem like once per activation.
      On the other hand, if you imagine two Jyn’s in the same square then each could do it at any point (since it’s an interrupt,) so if two of them then Jyn1 could interrupt and not kill him, and Jyn2 could then decide to interrupt immediately after to try again. So thinking of it from a game balance POV I’d think you could use it twice in a row.
      (I understood two activations was to balance game to 4 characters total. When 3 characters it says you can choose one of them each turn to have an extra activation which again would be 4.)

      Follow up - Does the app cost addition money?

    • @RollingSolo
      @RollingSolo  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey! What was released to start doesn’t cost anything. It’s unknown what will happen down the line but looking into the Descent and Mansions of Madness app will give you an idea. My guess is the next campaign will be free as well...well we can hope ;)

      Oh u mean these r just extra missions to the core box?

    • @RollingSolo
      @RollingSolo  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The app does track what you own besides the core game as well. So I know some content outside the base game can be used. What I’m not 100% on is how much of the additional content pops up in these first campaigns released. That will increase a lot going forward I’d imagine.
