I know the area it's by clear lake i would say 10k -20k for that land owner tag .. hi fence not hunting it's a deal whete you got the money you can hunt
Must be nice to draw an elk tag. Been applying for decades as resident and nothing. Do it on public with no guide like the residents. This is not fair chase it's called pay to play.
Private lands aren't keeping the elk around. They are destroying them look at what's happening on the sonoma coast in Inverness. They wanted to protect them so bad that now. They're diseased and dying from inbreeding. Not able to migrate. If they wanted to be true stewards of the land and animals and not for personal gain they would do it like the Frank Church. Let the animals migrate to the islands and the valley to procreate and strengthen herds so that all the stewards of the state may enjoy them. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe CA is the only state with tule elk. Ca is the hardest state for a resident to get a tag. Not including the big 3 sheep, goat, and moose. As a resident hunter for decades in this state you won't convince it's not about the money. But I do appreciate the conversation.
200 yards…… hits the deer in the ass, dumps a elk at 895….. lol
AssMan 😂😂
Welcome to Ca....... the challenge is public land here....
It’s nice to see Barnes ammo being used at longer ranges. I am using the new LRX 160gr in my 7PRC and it is performing great.
What velocity are you getting?
@ 2992 fps out of a 22” Gunwerks barrel.
Why don't you use Revic rangefinder binoculars?? Was thinking of purchasing, but now I question it 🤔
That elk shot was wicked! I probably missed it. But what cartridge/projectile y’all running?!? Congratulations to Mike!
$$$$$ nice animals.
I was thinking the same thing sure didn't draw this tag and those private land tags aren't cheap

Those aren’t mutually exclusive. If you can’t draw a tag, be happy that private land hunting keeps the elk around
