Everybody is talking about the Joker but I feel bad for Tonya. She was abused by her mother and ex husband, her dad left, she had to deal with being an impoverished figure skater which didn't fit the mold everyone has for most figure skaters despite being super talented, and had her career taken from her because of her ex husband's actions to get someone to cripple Nancy Kerrigan. Sure, she's not 100% innocent, but she attempted suicide because of it and I feel like her having the upbringing she had was a major factor in the judges decision to ban her from the figure skating league.

When I saw the older guy hitting the girl who figure skates and it flash forwards to when she is older and much more talented I couldn’t help but get chills bc it reminds me of the day in gym class, my freshman year of high school weighing in at 120, someone walked up to me and said word for word “who would ever date you just look at yourself” flash forward to my sophomore year of college. I have lost a lot of friends but gained a body that I can look at with a smile.
