IISMA at Yale Summer Session 2023

This summer, twenty students from Indonesia attended YSS through a scholarship program called the Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA). Selected from universities across Indonesia, these students spent ten weeks at Yale, becoming an integral part of our summer community. They contributed to our community in various ways, from serving Indonesian food at the buttery (student snack bar) to organizing an afternoon of activities for their fellow students in the Summer Colleges. Each summer, hundreds of international students like our IISMA students attend YSS. They are central to YSS, enriching the cultural and educational experience for all.
