I could be wrong, but from what I've read and understood. It was due to Herc killing the Nemua Lion which was suppose to have been born or fell from the Moon.Something about that Lion being connected to Selene. Unsure of the full details though.
@@MarkATorres1989yep. The Lion was taken care by Selene. Until Hera said that the Lion should eat everyone in Nemea in order to force Heracles to fight it.
@@MarkATorres1989 none, Hera just wanted for Heracles to die. She also did a similar thing with the Hydra. The Hydra was taken care by Hera, until Hera put the Hydra into the Lernean Lake so that Heracles could fight it. But in order for Heracles to have a reason to fight both, they needed to cause chaos and murdering so that King Eurystheus could have a reason to sent Heracles there.
I love that nyx is the master of this order of titanesses and goddesses that work behind the scenes to keep things peaceful

She is talking figurativily. Everyelse she is a daughter of Hyperion like Helios.
