I like using cantu curl activator cream it defines curls and has a medium hold and its inexpensive. What I do its mix a lil cantu curl activator cream with a lil cantu shine and curl custard and it's perfect for me. (I like alot of definition and hold) they're great product's

You used the wrong Cantu product. The one I highly recommend and actually works is called Cantu Coconut Curling Cream it’s pretty small maybe about 4 inches high

And after everything dries. Feel from your scalp and when it’s dry and you feel the crunchy hair then scrunch it and it will soften your hair. Trust if you wanna use Cantu. Cantu is okay but overtime it will damage your hair because of the alcohol In it so beware. I like the way shea moisture feels on my hair. She’s moisture works wonders

The reason why didn’t work on your hair is because Cantu is geared towards 3B, 3C, 4A, 4B and 4C hair but your is probably like a 3A or 2C hair
