Lovely trip and gardens. The trees, magnificent! and landscape are stunning. Love your shot of the family home through the trees with the beautiful forest hills behind it.
Hi Inga, hope you're well. Yes, it's a wonderful place for anyone who loves trees. I found it a very peaceful and restful place to visit and can thoroughly recommend it to anyone. Dawyck House is a very handsome building and it did look great from the hill framed by all the trees. Thanks for commenting, I really appreciate it as I love hearing from other people who love Scotland as much as I do. Best wishes, David :-)
That's the kind of place the wife and I enjoy spending the day.. Meanwhile here in Northern Canada it is definitely fall, we have been getting frost every night since the beginning of the month. I've always loved your choice of music on your videos but I think I realized today it's not just the choice of music you use, it is that you also pick the perfect moments to let the ambient sounds of the wind and water mix with the music. As always a fantastic video
Hi Jim, hope you're well. I'm so pleased that you noticed the blend of music and audio. I try my best to choreograph things and I do try to pick songs that feel right, where the lyrics give a nod to how I felt when I was there at the time. I really do wish I could spend more time making these videos, but perhaps one day! Autumn is starting to appear here too. The trees are starting to turn red, orange and yellow and the nights are getting colder. However, we have had the most glorious, blue sky, warm weather over the last few days and it's felt like a different country! We've got to enjoy it while it lasts! Hope you're getting on OK in Canada. Sadly it looks as though the UK is experiencing a second wave of the virus and I'm just keeping my fingers crossed we don't have a complete lockdown again which will be very damaging. Take care and thanks for your support. Best wishes, David
Thanks to everyone who's subscribed, it really helps motivate me to keep filming :-) Hope you find today's video relaxing and soothing, as I know things are still very difficult. I'll be releasing videos most weekends now, so don't forget to hit the 'Notification Bell' to be notified of new one's - thank you!

My paternal grandmother was a Veatch, who traced their lineage back to this part of Scotland, I hope, someday, to travel from the US to visit this beautiful place!
Really hope you can make it over sometime soon. The Borders is such a beautiful region and I’m certain you’ll enjoy walking in the footsteps of your ancestors. Thanks so much for watching, it’s hugely appreciated. All the best, David 🙂
@@DavidWheaterScotland I hope so, after finding out that 85% of my DNA originated in England, Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland. I’ve always wanted to visit.
